Vee Bdosa
(Click for Poet Info...)

As Ron Wilson, my birth name, I began my writing career in short-story, article, and poetry writing, and early publication ranged from multiple markets from FIELD AND STREAM magazine, a prominent Boston Literary Publication called IN-POSSE REVIEW, a regular contributor to Springfield MO News-Leader OVER THE OZARKS, The Sacramento BEE and Weekender. Most of my early writing was as Ron Wilson, but there have also been nearly a dozen pseudonyms, most of whom I have forgotten without looking back in my scrapbook albums.

Today, if you see the names Ron Wilson, Ron Wilson Arbuthnot, Ron Arbuthnot, or Vee Bdosa the Doylestown Poet, they are all me. My second book of poetry, LOVE POETRY by Vee Bdosa,  was awarded the (coveted) honor of EDITORS CHOICE by the Editors. However, only a few hundred are in existence now as I have stopped publication in order to re-write all of my poetry under my ancestral name of RON ARBUTHNOT. I also have written over 300 songs, and am in the process or doing new recordings of all of them and a lot of audio-video of my selected poetry. Much of it, the early, the new, the good, the better, and the best, can be found at YOUTUBE and searching for Vee Bdosa. More later.

All the Gold on Fort Knox

Blog Posted by Vee Bdosa: 1/31/2016 12:16:00 PM

Let us make this plain. I lived on Fort Know a year and a half ago for 2 years, and I passed the Vault at least twice a day every day. It is where I finished writing my latest book GOLD VAULT OF POETRY, under the pen name of Ron Arbuthnot. I believe you can buy it here on Poetry Soup bookstore, if not it is available at Barnes and Noble and nearly any on line book store.

The sight of the massive stone vault we refer to as FORT KNOX,  is very impressive. But I tell you now, the only gold on Fort Knox is sold at the US Army PX, or the ear rings, or wedding rings, or gold teeth on Fort Knox. There is no gold on Fort Knox. Why is this? Because the United States Gold Bullion Depository is not on Fort Knox, it is US government property adjacent to the Army Post of Fort Knox. It is NOT part of the US Army and never has been. But our gold is still there, well protected and very save, it is just not on, nor has it ever been on, Fort Knox.

I do not know why they call it Fort Knox, and I asked lots of people, including a couple of Generals, and no one had an answer to that question.

To make it more confusing, you will rarely see any US Army vehicles entering or leaving the Gold Bouillon property. None say United States Government, and none are labeled US Depository, which it is. They all say US NINT, but this is not a mint, either. LOL It is a depository, mainly for storing most of our gold, though some is stored other places, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Denver, and a huge depository is directly under and protected by the rubble of the World Trade Center in NYC, because they believe it is safer there than just about anywhere.

Gold is not the only thing at our US Gold Bouillon Depository. It is also the home of the original US Constitution, and look at this, the Hope Diamond many times, three volumes of the original Gutenberg Bible, Abraham Lincoln's second inaugural address, the original Articles of Confederation, and the last I knew, it is also the safe keeping place for England's original Magna Charta.

But if you go around claiming there is no gold on Fort Knox, guess what, you are right. Sort of. The gold is all in the next door neighbor to Fort Knox, the US Gold Bouillon Depository

And it is still safe.

There are four original copies, or more correctly 'transcripts' of the Magna Carta. All are in the UK. It would be madness to only have one copy of such an important document. One of these copies was loaned to the U.S. in 1939 for an exibition, circumstances at the time left it in safe hands at the Depository but this copy was returned to the UK in 1947. Take care, Richard

Hmmm. What the word at the depository is that there is only one original of anything, and that the other 3 were copies of the first, of course copies in the 13th Century was by hand, and all written in Latin. The US Depository claims protection of the first original. I do not know. Thanks, I don't know how anyone could tell after 800 yeears. LOL

You are only partially correct for the Magna Carta. There are FOUR originals, and naturally England has one too!
