(Click for Poet Info...)

As Ron Wilson, my birth name, I began my writing career in short-story, article, and poetry writing, and early publication ranged from multiple markets from FIELD AND STREAM magazine, a prominent Boston Literary Publication called IN-POSSE REVIEW, a regular contributor to Springfield MO News-Leader OVER THE OZARKS, The Sacramento BEE and Weekender. Most of my early writing was as Ron Wilson, but there have also been nearly a dozen pseudonyms, most of whom I have forgotten without looking back in my scrapbook albums.

Today, if you see the names Ron Wilson, Ron Wilson Arbuthnot, Ron Arbuthnot, or Vee Bdosa the Doylestown Poet, they are all me. My second book of poetry, LOVE POETRY by Vee Bdosa,  was awarded the (coveted) honor of EDITORS CHOICE by the Editors. However, only a few hundred are in existence now as I have stopped publication in order to re-write all of my poetry under my ancestral name of RON ARBUTHNOT. I also have written over 300 songs, and am in the process or doing new recordings of all of them and a lot of audio-video of my selected poetry. Much of it, the early, the new, the good, the better, and the best, can be found at YOUTUBE and searching for Vee Bdosa. More later.

Dylan, Quo Vadis?

There are lots of great interview videos of Bob Dylan on Youtube, One more recent shows how Dylan looks, at 76 years old, just old, and tired, and defeated. It is the same look Jon Lennon would probably have if he were still alive, just defeated. Their causes are wayyyy in the past, and they were wrong, 100% wrong.

Who in their right minds would want a world void of conflict? Not mois. Who in their right mind would want everyone to be in a world where everyone is equal? Not mois. Not first place, not last place, everyone equal. Not mois.

That is why Bob Dylan looks so old and so tired and so defeated in his more recent photographs and videos. He knows he has been singing lies. He knows, because of human nature, it could never work. He knows that Black lives do not really matter at all. He knows the truth, and it has crushed every bit of logic he ever sang about.

It would not surprise me for Bob Dylan to reject the Nobel Award. He has been working up to it for nearly 60 years now. God bless him anyway, he tried. It is the rest of us who really rejected his logic, and the logic of Jon Lennon and a host of 60's poets and songwriters.

The truth is, we, the rest of us, are simply a bunch of mushy head jerks. We do not want peace. We do not want to love one another. We want our champions and we want losers, too. We want our tests to be passed and we want some to fail.

And we love it that way.

This is why I believe Bob Dylan will probably reject the Nobel. Because he knows mor than we.
