Vee Bdosa Biography

As Ron Wilson, my birth name, I began my writing career in short-story, article, and poetry writing, and early publication ranged from multiple markets from FIELD AND STREAM magazine, a prominent Boston Literary Publication called IN-POSSE REVIEW, a regular contributor to Springfield MO News-Leader OVER THE OZARKS, The Sacramento BEE and Weekender. Most of my early writing was as Ron Wilson, but there have also been nearly a dozen pseudonyms, most of whom I have forgotten without looking back in my scrapbook albums.

Today, if you see the names Ron Wilson, Ron Wilson Arbuthnot, Ron Arbuthnot, or Vee Bdosa the Doylestown Poet, they are all me. My second book of poetry, LOVE POETRY by Vee Bdosa,  was awarded the (coveted) honor of EDITORS CHOICE by the Editors. However, only a few hundred are in existence now as I have stopped publication in order to re-write all of my poetry under my ancestral name of RON ARBUTHNOT. I also have written over 300 songs, and am in the process or doing new recordings of all of them and a lot of audio-video of my selected poetry. Much of it, the early, the new, the good, the better, and the best, can be found at YOUTUBE and searching for Vee Bdosa. More later.

I think regardless of what instruments a choir uses, you should go to a church were you are excited to worship God. That is the whole point. So, whatever gets you filled with His Spirit is what works for you, period.

When you're on....nobody in the whole world can beat you....nobody...but Edwin comes darn close....and gets better daily...I recall your advice....Never use that in poetry unless you absolutely have no other word.....thanks....

Hello sir! I was baptized in a Methodist and my parents and relatives were so active at this church. My 2 uncles were pastors and 2 aunts were deaconess playing musical instruments. One was in-charge of choir, then I became so active too singing with my cousins. I loved choir. However, when I was sent to a Catholic school in college and was baptized, I've not been in a choir anymore unless I'll go back home to visit my family again. I'm destined that my life is away from my family so I've more chances to go to Catholic and for these past few years, I was so active in their choir. But, lately not anymore because of time constraint. Now I go to a simple church nearby. Merry Christmas sir!

that reply makes little sense, one of the main reasons I do not like PSoup, I can not say much of anything in less than 400 letters

Hi, Leonora, I went from Protastat to Catholic, but only on 2 occassions, , I did not hear any choir, not even a song outa the priest. , and I always get the feeling that we are not ever alone.

It's hidden in between each line your eyes will ever read, it is the secret, yours and mine, thoughts you will always need, they come to you while you're asleep and dreaming all I've known, they flow on like a river deep, and you are not alone...

The religion I grew up in had choirs but not those really vibrant ones like you see in the movies . It seems the black congregations really have some very peppy choirs. Are the white Baptist churches the same way? ANyway, I love guitars and would like to see more of THOSE at my church! Merry Xmas to you, Vee.

Hi Ron I agree that the choir is an added reason to enjoy the service and the wonderful christian songs and music that lift our spirits up. I feel that that is a small part compared to the message of the sermon and the denomination. Just because a church has a choir. I am not going to compromise what I feel is my choice of the denomination that I feel close to. I also like certain music bands like Mercy me, Michael W Smith, to name a few that have drumming, and guitar etc in it. I feel your love for the choir, that is wonderful it makes you feel more for God. Music (Christian music in church is good) and makes it more pleasant I feel in the worship. Thanks for sharing. Gods blessing to you.

I think you hammered the head of the nail, it is the sound of many voices singing together, not some soloist/guitar player hogging the spotlight.
