My Life

A beautiful girl I once was,
Because of my actions I feel that no more
Cared for and loved are here but only sometimes
Decisions I've made I try not to regret
Excitements I've had, I'll always remember
Forgotten memories, the ones too bad to share
Gifts from the heart, I give but no one seems to care
Hands that I use, to hold my daughter each day
Infamiliar faces, all in this new place
Jumping up and down thinking of coming home
Kidding around, when I tell you my jokes
Laughter, the best sound, when it comes from Riley
My life, My dreams, My love, My heart
Never felt like this, like we may part
Opinions, of others who don't really know
People I deal with, and try not to show
Quiet, I sit, with no one around
Real or unreal, my life seems everyday
Scary to think how my life got this way
Talking, not sharing our real thoughts and fears
Used to share and talk, but not lately this year
Vague feelings, we share the least that we can
Woman, I am, sometimes I feel so damned
X marks the day, where I need to decide
You are the one, I want need to confide in
Zoom Zoom Zoom as my life passes by.
