Seasons of Love

Love is something nice and warm.
It bubbles up and takes the form
of: sunsets, roses, that first kiss,
and other things that bring you bliss!

We think about it day and night.
The feeling that you're in mid-flight!
Soaring high above a world of hate.
Where death and darkness have to wait!

Yet back again we fall to earth.
Into a pit, in our black hearth.
We take a breath, and look around,
then light appears without a sound.

Amanda, thanks for sharing this poem on love as we enter a new season - as you suggest, as the light fades we can take a breath, look around and see the light. Krista
