More Is Better

MORE IS BETTER

In a more solid space in a more solid place
I would open my mouth to speak
With a ransom of roses without any poses
I would open my arms to heal

But here in this place, there are just gestures of joy from women and boys
And so I open my mouth and open my arms
Sing a song and take

In a more even race with a much better pace
I would stretch my legs out and fly
With only champagne and smoke and sharp crystals of hope
I would open my mind and heal

But here there are clouds with clout and much time to go without
And so I open my mouth and open my mind
Recite an anthem to break
