I want to be reborn

I want to be reborn
I want to be free
not better than anyone
just better than me.
Earning my money
nothing more, nothing less
living not surviving
and leaving no mess.

I want to be a girl
that effortlessly breathes
to look in the mirror
and not hate what I see,
the ones that skin glows
that everybody knows,
with eyes like the sky
they wouldn't dare to see cry .

I want to be reborn
so that I fit in
walks through storms
and walk through winds.
having long flowing hair
and live in a world with no care.

I want to be reborn
it will be better that way,
I wont have to pretend
or watch what I say,
I wont have to be hidden
or blend into the crowd,
because its impossible to be free
when you were born to stand out.

I want to be reborn
it's exhausting being me,
hoping for a change
that isn't meant to be,

I want to be reborn
if I wasn't already clear,
maybe then they will like me
and not hide away in fear.

I want to be reborn
its tiring being me,
existing a world
impossible to be free.

For me its different
I wasn't born to be free
I was birthed full of hatred
and forced to be me.
