Love Me Naked

Not fancy crown, not shiny ring,
Not perfect words, no fancy thing,
No helper's hand, though quick and sweet,
Just see me deep, where hearts can meet.

Love with ears, hear how I hum,
Not just the smile, the mask that's numb,
Sunbeams dance with shadows shy,
My truest self inside can fly.

No golden cup, no victory cheer,
Just secrets shared, whispered near,
Not eyes that hold back every tear,
But ones that show what's hidden, dear.

Beyond the look, the face I show,
See dreams like birds in gentle flow,
Battle scars like lines on bark,
Silent thoughts leave gentle mark.

Two hearts like friends, sit side by side,
No shadows scared, nowhere to hide,
Not for what I give, but what I keep,
Just love the fire, burning deep.

In this soft light, my spirit sings,
We fly on dreams, with feathered wings,
No need for grand, no need for show,
Just love the me, that you now know.
