Biography

Several of my poems have been published in various anthologies (e.g, Heron X Clan). I've also written short stories and novels--and have published book, film, and music reviews in the 1980-1990s.  Most of my recent poems strive to integrate various modern & postmodern techniques and approaches (e.g., Dadaism, surrealism, found poetry, text manipulation, concrete/visual poetry, LANGUAGE poetry, confessional poetry).  Some of my favorite poets include e.e.cummings, Emily Dickinson, Stephen Crane, T.S.Eliot, Ferlinghetti, John Berryman, Charles Bukowski, Charles Bernstein, and Aram Saroyan.
