A Feline Poet

The muse (perhaps the spirit of Leo the Lion) finally re-visited the clever cat. The clever feline placed his claws on the keyboard and wrote a poem about chasing birds & string--and catching a mouse or two. He wrote another one about vivid hallucinations he experienced while under the influence of catnip. He sniffed the poems. They didn't sniff quite right so he revised each one a few times--and then submitted them to a poetry website. He also read them at a Zoom poetry meeting and the audience was amazed that a cat could write and read poetry. He meowed that writing made him purr and "the inked claw is mightier than the sword."
