Normal

I have this cloud that follows me,
I have this cloud that noone wants to see.
It's all in your head
Nothing major can be done.
So suck it up
Get on out and have some fun.
But they can't see the demons in my head -
Scratching
Clawing
Biting.
The demons want me dead.
But they don't care,
They don't want to know
What is under my skin,
They just want me to smile
And pretend tht I fit in.
Another appointment,
Another prescription,
Another bottle of pills.
Saftey pin a smile on my face
So everyone else feels comfortable
While my world slowly collapses
And I fall from grace.
But the world must go on,
Everything done so formal.
I wish I could take the bottle
And one by one eat my pink freedom
But that just wouldn't be right
- Oh no-
Heaven forbid I don't act like I'm
NORMAL!!

Help.

The moon rises like a vacant memory
In the pitch black skies
That sabotage my mind.

Demons are inside my head
They fill my mind with lies
They tease,
They flaunt,
They float,
They haunt,
They make me want to break the ties.

Darkness closes in on me
Drowning me in blame.
It strips me of my sanity
And fills me full of shame.
I want to hide,
I want to cry,
I want to scream,
I want to die.

This bitterness I feel inside
Is nothing short of hate.
But there’s nothing left
That I can do
But sit around and wait.

Waiting for something better
Or waiting for something worse.
Anything will really do as long as it releases me
From this dreaded curse.

Please help me
Help me forget my pain
Take away my hurt
And let me lead my life.
Fix my broken heart
That stills,
The needs,
That bleeds,
That kills.

Only you.
You can make my pain go away.
Your soft touch melts the barrier around my heart,
Your warm eyes calm the fear in my head.
Your gentle nature quietens my raging soul.
I need you;
To have me,
To hold me,
To help me,
Please help me.

Sorry

I'm sorry for not being there.
I'm sorry I didn't care
Enough to let you know
That I was leaving
And not coming back.
That things we're bad
And that we were escaping.
I'm sorry for going
Without saying goodbye.
I'm sorry for never calling
To say good luck, best wishes
Or to just say hi.
And now it's too late.
You've left,
Without saying goodbye.
Gone to take your place
In the sky.
For your forever sleep.
And once again,
I'm the one who's sorry.

While...

May your thoughts float away
As you gaze at passing worlds,
While you embrace the moon bathed earth.
May your heart be blessed
With many years of happiness
While all others must be forsaken.
May your eyes see nothing but joy
And lay witness to many miracles
While all others bear witness to pain.
May your body grow old with grace
And your mind absorb all knowledge
While all others perish and decay
And float away into the wind like dead leaves
Into a world for the less fortunate.
A world where all is forsaken
And nothing thrives but hate and anger.
May the web of lies and deceit
Never stray from your eyes.
May you never have to see
That your moon bathed earth
Is nothing but a barren wasteland,
With war on its doorsteps
And the blood of our children
Spilt into the sea like toxic waste.
While soldiers scream
And watch their friends die.
May you never bear witness
To this unnecessary bloodshed.
May you go in your sleep
Free from pain and anguish
While our children die
In horror and terror.
Buried in the ditches
Only worthy of the corpses of rats.

Face

You have opened my eyes to things no one else
Will ever get to see.
You have held me close to the point
Where others could not breathe.
You have made me feel things that no one else
Will ever get to feel.
Through my lowest times you have been my safety net
To stop me from falling.
Through my uncertain times you have been my engine
To stop me from stalling.
Through my highest points you have been my balloon
Taking me ever higher to reach the stars.
You accept me all in all
From my piercings to my tattoos
Right down to my scars.
You made my heart beat again
Where I thought it had stopped.
You've given me things
No one else ever could
And for this I will always be thankful.
For all the times you've made me laugh
And the times you held me when I cried
Even though you too were hurting inside.
Those times you've been there for me
I can never replace.
Anytime you are unsure of how I feel
Or where you stand,
You only have to do one thing
And that's to look at my face.

Blades

Rivers flowing red.
Soon you know you'll be dead.
The razors thrown on the floor.
Curtains closed,
You've barred the door.
Silent screams echo the room.
You try to breathe,
But your throat closes over.
Suffocating you.
Your lips turn blue.
You lay and watch your wrists
Pouring out your heartache.
All your pain and suffering
Soaking into the carpet.
The blades glinting; tarnished
By past betrayals.
Each scar longer.
Each pain harder.
The razor bites deeper
Opening up your wrists.
Cos your heart refuses to thaw.
Closed up after years of torment.
The false promises
Words spoken of sweet seductions
And eternal love,
Rust and die
Just like the blades
Embedded in your flesh.
You're getting weaker,
The pain is lessening.
Your release is coming soon.
Take your last breath.
The last thing you see
Before you close your eyes,
Is the razors on the floor
Soaking in your peace.

Little One

Little one you left so quick,
I didn't even get to say goodbye.
Why did you leave little one?
Why did you have to go?
You hurt me and your daddy so,
Knowing we'd never hear your giggles
Or watch you learn to crawl.
Our arms ache to hold you close
And love you so.
We think about you everyday little one
And we will never forget you.
I hope the angels are taking care of you
And that your happy in heaven little one.
We will see you one day
And it will be a joyous occasion.
But until then I shall say goodbye
And never forget that we love you
Our precious baby,
Our gorgeous angel,
Our little one.

The Rose

The rose so delicately picked
Pricks and bleeds its life blood from the thorn,
The droplets marring the green grass;
Tingeing the blades with death.
Watch your hands,
Don’t get caught.
Life lessons are learnt
As lies are taught.
A world with no morals
And a hell with no bounds,
Luring the damned
As the demons dance round.
Petals turn to dust
As the fire of depravity
Turns morality to rust.
As the years unfold
The story is told
Of how the roses colour
Came to be.
A fair young maiden
In the fields does wait
For her brave young hero
Who has being slaying enemies in battle.
He did arrive, wounded badly
And hardly alive.
The maiden ran to him as he did collapse
And held him in her arms.
As his life slipped away.
Thru sheer despair
The young maiden did weep.
She cried for so many years
Her eyes had bled,
Making the ground so wet
That the flowers she did weep upon
Soaked up her stained tears
And that is why
The rose is red.

Bitten

In the darkness of the night
You let his fingers graze your flesh,
Waking a long forgotten feeling.
The touch is gentle but oh so deep,
Lighting your soul causing you to tremble
And make your knees go weak.
“Do not fight it my sweet femina
Let me envelop you,
Let my darkness spread within.
Give way to your darkest desires,
Do not deny me, my sweet femina.”
You cannot resist any longer
And let him in.
His sharp canine fangs
Pierce your tender flesh
Draining your blood
But fulfilling you to your core.
The warmth begins to fade
As the coldness takes over.
You let him take your body
And a new warmth takes over.
Draining to the last drop,
His fangs retract without motion
And he whispers in your ear
“Here my sweet femina, take mine
Like I took yours,
Come with me in the darkness
And follow me my sweet femina.”
You close your hot mouth around his offering
And as the blood flows freely
You relish in the fact that you were chosen,
That you were the one bitten.
