There Is a New Star Up In Heaven Tonight

Up in the firmaments where there hang great bodies,
contending for the space of glory and power,
undoing each other as the times of the days would allow,
They didn't pay heed to a new star that had appeared..
The earthlings didn't notice it either.
When the golden lamp of the day was spent,
and the great kings and queens took their places in their might,
The heavens lighted with an unusual glow
and 'twas not even from the full moon
In a moment the heavens gasped with the words of delight
"there is a new star in heaven tonight"
She had climbed up slowly and found her place
Mankind has lost another one of her own
An angel among men, now hangs in the sky
In the light of the day they didn't see her shine.
She was just like any other person..
Now that her departure has cast a dark gloom all over,
Her light now shines in revelation to all that behold her
Even in her death, she she still casts light in our dark..

What Lips My Lips Have Kissed

Tasted have i the lips of many
and all by time and chance came to me.
I had no choice than to meet my lips with theirs in coerced manners .
'that not out of love not burning passions
But in one choice less fashion
What lips my lips have kissed
It's not a query to rack my mind over
In a reflective session I gaze beyond in time 's vault.
I've ever kissed the lips of poverty and its taste left me dry rattling in the gentle breeze.
I kissed death on her dark lips and t' was heavenly grace that rescued my poor Soul.
The lips of pain have i kissed with her pang feeling like a thousand needles pricking
What gaping hole was left in heart at the second heartbreak kissed me with her dripping-Judas lips
I've flirted and kissed of life's many atrocities.
I did it not for love;for t'is so life is...

Hope

The time had come for him to let go
The time for him to give up and say no
But his heart still pumped life And hope
He wouldn't simply give up his rope
Another man hangs steadily on the line
But he is sure to let go sometime.
For how long can a man hold on
between heaven and hell,
Wailing the same old song

He held on fearfully with all his life dearly
As his life played before his eyes clearly,
He slipped a little and he felt the heat
Heat from the sulfur and brimstone of hell's pit
And he prayed for a hand to hold him up
Before he could fall in a eternal nap

The Fool

I have no doubt in my heart
the signs are clear, I am fool
I have scattered and not hoarded
and I never paid heed to the ripe ears that fell
I never thought the season would ever pass me by
My trodden paths are places angels would not tread
Is it because they do fear the evil around?
Or was it because I was full on dutch courage
One day, my life will waste away on this mother's ruin.
I pray God to take away the years I have left.
I've squandered and spent the daring days of my youth.
Men of my age now sit in council pointing fingers saying, "He is a fool"
I don't know how long i'll walk this Earth
Though I am a fool, no man can judge me but God.
