Tiger Moon

Oh, Tiger Moon!
Burning wildly in the night,
Can you feel the jungle air,
Beating rhythmically tonight?

Scars lashed upon your brow,
And beaten upon your chest,
Shine bright over the darkness,
And put your soul at rest.

Release your gentle glow,
Let it caress the earth with love,
Soft whispers I will feel,
Lost in endless wonder from above.

Lies, Lies, Lies

Lies, Lies, Lies!
Is that all you say?
I love you, I won't leave you
You liar, just go away!

You're my woman, and I'm your man
I'll never abandon you, I aim to please
No! You're just an illusion, you can never be true
All of my time that was wasted on someone like you!

The poison on your lips, the lies that you tell
You should be ashamed of yourself, you belong deep in the throws of hell

You prey on innocent women, who give you their hearts
Did it ever occur to you, that you were their star?
Your vows mean nothing, it's lip service you give
How did I end up falling for such a pompous pig?

Come a little closer you say, I want to hold your hand
As you sharpen your daggers and shove an ice pick through my skin

There's a barrier between us now, you cannot cross it ever again
We are finished with this love affair
This is the end.

God's Presence

Light breaks through the shadow
Tiny shards of light
I know you’re searching for me
In the dark of night

I hear you speaking to me
I can hear you crystal clear
Your presence all around me
I can feel you near

Your love it breaks the silence
Your light is shining through
Angels wings brush by me
Sweet breath of heaven’s dew

Shut

Shut the windows, Slam the door
To drown out the sound of my lonely beating heart
Like long thorny branches, pricking deeply into my skin

Shut it down now! You don't belong here, you evil man
You've taken it all, with one flicker of your hungry sin
Blurring the shadows of what might have been

A lovely sunset on a sun silken shore
Was that too much to ask, for a little ardor?
The moon casts dark shadows across my grieving heart
Remember the one that you just tore apart?
With my heart exposed, and where walls have run thin
I will now find a new way to cope and a new way to begin.
