Shut

Shut the windows, Slam the door To drown out the sound of my lonely beating heart Like long thorny branches, pricking deeply into my skin Shut it down now! You don't belong here, you evil man You've taken it all, with one flicker of your hungry sin Blurring the shadows of what might have been A lovely sunset on a sun silken shore Was that too much to ask, for a little ardor? The moon casts dark shadows across my grieving heart Remember the one that you just tore apart? With my heart exposed, and where walls have run thin I will now find a new way to cope and a new way to begin.

Very relatable. I think we've all had that experience.
