Intelligence

A measure of the grasp,
Of life on this planet Earth,
Is reasonably shown as intelligence.
Alas does the tongue of man,
Spoil another’s bread,
By words and words of simple evil.
They sharpen their minds,
Broaden them to a point of lesser thinking,
And they rise above those fallen warriors.
A sphere of glass,
Cannot predict one’s future,
Hence the laws of common man.
Why say what is unknown,
To you,
And praise yourself for false conclusions.
An evaluation,
Of intelligence,
Measures only mental security.
What about those fallen warriors,
Who have not risen from defeat,
Who show their strengths that have fallen as thee.
The values of great Owl,
And system of us,
Tie together in not a way.
Priorities vary,
By warriors and kingdoms,
Ever so different.
The different levels of intelligence,
Measured by a priority varied,
Can have no measures to the soul.

The Rose

Darling,
She said,
Look away.
Why,
I say.
Never looking back,
Is what I say today.
Take this single rose,
She told me,
It will comfort you in the hard times to come.

Symphony

Clarity of emotion,
Through sweet sounds,
And soft songs.
A bold statement,
Rising to the podium,
Playing their lovely tunes.
The curtains rise,
As does the music,
Flowing through the stage.
As you walk up,
To that point of gold,
That podium of security.
Your voice is heard,
Through the small town,
Even to little Dreary Lane.
And as those soft sounds,
And loud trumpets come to close,
The audiences rises.
You have implored them,
Inspired them,
To join with you for crumpets and tea.
Because after that sensation,
Of words and sounds,
Who would not care to reach for the stars,
And join in this,
The glorious symphony.

Risen

A conquest for wisdom,
Without need for thought.
Only the requirement for larceny.
A tribute to those are fallen,
The warriors who did not rise from defeat.
A simple song did they sing,
As they fell into eternal sleep.
Yet in their dreams,
They shall rise again,
Tear down the bars,
Chaining them to fate.
Clarity not found,
Without ways to defeat,
Those who have already,
Won their wisdom.
As all is forgotten,
From ancient city,
It shall never again,
Rise to the surface.
A city of gold,
Fallen beneath the sea,
Has better contingent of rising,
Than thee fallen to sleep.
Yet shall there be,
No other purpose,
Than to rise again,
While the water creeps up,
Your broken skin.

Pages

There is a prophecy,
Written in the tongue of man.
With pages and pages,
Of hopes and despair.
Not written on these pages,
Is a single name,
For names don't label the mind,
Or the man's words.
There may be,
Pages and pages,
Of names,
And labels.
But does one of these,
Names and labels,
Have true meaning,
Or is it just the tongue of man.
Look past the tongues of life,
To the pages and pages,
Of prophecy,
With no meaning other than,
That prophecy with no name,
Could be you.

Dreams

I’m living like a dream,
Where everything just comes to me,
No idea where I really am.

Sitting here,
Gazing at stars,
Never knowing where you are.
It just comes to me like dreams.

Looking out,
Beyond the seas,
And all I see is a thousand dreams,
Looking out,
Right through me.

Down below,
Like a dove,
Just lurking for some love.
Sitting there,
Staring at my dreams.

Looking out,
And down below.
Like a dream,
Where you never know,
Where you are or where you have been.

Looking out,
Like a wall of glass,
Just reaching for that final glance,
Till it falls beneath your feet.

Out there,
There are butterflies.
Never did I see your eyes.
And as it falls beneath my feet,
I wonder if this was all a dream.

Inside Out

Looking out,
Into this world of mine.
I know,
That whatever this world is,
It is not mine.
Keeping everything inside,
Never letting your true feelings show,
It's this effect,
On me,
That this world seems to see me as.
Never letting your feelings show,
But who will ever know,
If I don't write it on a page.
What seems to be so close,
Really runs away from me.
Never did I realize,
But it never has seemed so clear to me.
I am shaped by society,
When I didn't realize who I am.
I have to let those feelings show,
And show them who I am.
Have to bring the inside out,
To have the whole world to see,
Because what I have just awaken from,
Is that I'm not truly me.
I have to turn inside out,
If I will ever be myself again.
Not depending on,
Someone else,
To shape myself into me.
I have to be fearless,
And just let it out,
Fearless,
I won turn my back on it now.

What might seem as words on a page,
May be truly what I say,
To myself,
Every part of the day.
It can be a memory,
This life I life today.
What might have been yesterday,
Feels like miles away.
So let your true feelings show,
And me your own you.
Because the only you,
Is you.
So turn yourself inside out,
Find out who you are,
Because leaving every part of me,
Inside of me,
Didn´t show the world who I am.
It is a part of me,
I cannot look away from another day.
Because I am,
Who I am,
And I can forgive myself for that,
But not from hiding who I am,
And not turning inside out.
