Risen

A conquest for wisdom, Without need for thought. Only the requirement for larceny. A tribute to those are fallen, The warriors who did not rise from defeat. A simple song did they sing, As they fell into eternal sleep. Yet in their dreams, They shall rise again, Tear down the bars, Chaining them to fate. Clarity not found, Without ways to defeat, Those who have already, Won their wisdom. As all is forgotten, From ancient city, It shall never again, Rise to the surface. A city of gold, Fallen beneath the sea, Has better contingent of rising, Than thee fallen to sleep. Yet shall there be, No other purpose, Than to rise again, While the water creeps up, Your broken skin.
