Me,Myself and I

When me and myself
Are feeling sadness
I sit down to chat
With the both of them
Finding the reasons
For their troubled minds

We have time to chat
I would speak with me
Telling things that troubled
Then next myself spoke
Telling all her woes
Till all was spoken

My name is I
Also me, myself
They live inside
It is always home
We live together as one

Walnuts and Peanuts

The walnuts and peanuts
Both squirrels and birds
Enjoy these different nuts
Chipmunks eat both nuts
There is always a battle
for food

Squirrels chase the birds away
There is always a battle for food
The squirrels eat both nuts
Blue jays eat the walnuts
Now the autumn begins

The squirrels search for nuts
They store it away for winter
Making a pile high somewhere
So I wonder if the squirrels
Will remember their nuts
Where they hid them for
later
When they will be hungry
Squirrels do not sleep in winter
They are seen searching for
food
In winter I never see the chipmunk
Searching for their food
Maybe they sleep through the winter

Ripples In the Water

The water begins calm
I think I saw a clam
It was hard to see
With ripples in the water

Harrison Park

Harrison Park is large
It has a trailer park
The people camp out
They spend their summer

In this park is a restaurant
All the food is home made
This place is always packed
They are enjoying their meal

The park has visitors
Rain or shine people come
To visit the small zoo
To see animals

There are cages with birds
They are different species
A partridge waits to show
His pretty feathers spread

For evryone to see
he likes to display them
For everyone to see
To show off his colors

Sentimental Objects

There are certain items kept
Sentimental objects are special
They hold the good memories
Some of us own one object
While some of us own several

It could be anything owned
Mine are several items
I treasure to my heart
I framed a Christmas card
A scene of Colpoy Bay area

A painting framed of Wiarton
My sewing table plus more
A stain glass wheel hand made
When the sun shines the colours
show
My statue dog Scruffy
An autograph book of poetry
Are sentimental to me

Buttercups Spreads

On a field of green grass
Yellow buttercups spread mast
Row on row of the spread mass
Coating the field un surpassed
With yellow buttercups outspread
On grassy fields spread

Homeless People

Walking on the streets out there
With the little baggage they own,
They walk everywhere
With no where to call home

They are homeless
Who struggles every day
For food and shelter
It's always a battle to pay

They beg for money
To buy food or hot drink
And it's really not funny
If you take time to think

So don't utter harsh words to them
Their future's looking dim.

The Cat

The lady sleeps
     Her cat is sleeping
      Both in deep slumber
      In the early morn
      She feels a nudge
       Eyes open- her cat
       stares at her
       Then chirps softly
The lady speaks to her cat
" It's too early to eat"
        Time passes then again

        The cat nudges her
         To wake up from sleep
         She looks at the clock
It is two in the morn
          She rolls over dreams
          Only to awake
          At six in the morn
           Now she feels tired
           From lack of sleep

A Change of Season

There is a chill in the air
Its a change of season
The leaves change color
A wonderful site to see
Red, yellow, brown, orange

When the wind is blowing
Leaves fall towards the ground
Pilling up piles
From corner to cornertleaveshe
Upon the brown grass

All the leaves are dancing
To the music of the wind
Enjoying, swaying, twirling
Keeping the rhythm
To the music of the beat

My Favourite Songs

I saw you across the room
You were with my best friend
Dancing to a slow song -Harvest Moon
You held her tightly in your arms
Then planted a passionate kiss
Oh Its My Party and i will cry if I want to
Cry if I want to and I did

I was deeply hurt and shocked
If You Could Read My Mind
You would know my hurtful thoughts
Oh my heart aches so badly
So your friend came up to me
He spoke calmly softly
He called me Blue Angel
Said he would never leave me
Feelings he had for me was strongBlue Bayyou

Strong feelings for me
He said "Together we would go
to the BlueBayou where the
sailboats go a float int Blue Bayou
