The Longest Night

My longest night will come.
A never ending stream of thought,
which starts and ends with you.
I counted the days that passed
hoping to mend the broken pieces
only to realize,
that there's a place we just
couldn't reach.
Nights were mere reflections
Of a man I used to be.
And this candle will die and still this restless
Soul reaches for someone very close
Yet very far from the river towards his heart.
I carry a heavy burden.
An undying flame which still burns
within...
A kind of pain that'll never heal.
A kind of dream that just won't go away.
I gave you a part of me that never sleeps.
A soul tired of thinking.
The sun will ease the pain.
But every hour, I get closer to the familiar
sense of loss.
And my longest night will come.
Which starts and ends with you.

Moments In Time

Chances go by, probably once or twice...
in a lifetime.
Good times brings smile, for a moment
and we feel we are alive.

Nothing lasts forever, sooner or later
everything will be taken away.
And the pain of losing everything you
have known begins.

Don't try to convince your self...
the lies of a broken promise.
The things I have come to love, are just
moments in time.

We fall face down in the worst of times,
and found comfort in no one.
Struggling in each step we face our fears.

We cherish the moments spent together
and I ask myself are those just dreams?
Uncertain of the future, the rain doesn't
seem to stop it keeps on pouring.
Oh God, when will this end?

And I don't know for sure if i'm going
the right way... Search for myself today
and I am lost again.

Bring back the missing pieces, gather
your self up, for it's not yet over.
And be whole again, in the midst of self
doubt and confusion.

For the death of something is the birth
of something new.
A little spark of solace, serenity i have
found within.

My Monument of You

I'll show you what's beneath my heart
dust off the fragments, the shattered pieces of
your monument that once was here.
I can never really lie, just hiding the truth
from anyone, it has always been there
it has always been here... always.

I am never me, always out of words
shut down... miss the night of having you
is missing forever.
I will never be, probably not meant to be
the one beside you.
change my fate, change the plans of destiny.
I am never me, whenever around
shut me down... miss the night of having you
I missed forever.

I'll show you what's written in these pages
your name's all over it, it's the only word
i know how to speak.
I'll let you in my art, you're the only thing
i know how to draw, for i feel, and it has
always been since the very first day I saw you...
that my hands is an extension of yours
and so much more.

You never hear me, and never see
I scream to no one, your love is gone.
You'll never be and you'll never see
I cry to you, and you are gone.

I can't tell you, I can't be near you
my only place in this world, is beside you.
I am just hiding the truth from anyone.
But it has always been there... It has
always been here...
My monument of you.

Hzl

From the ashes of the ruins, will soon rise.
The forgotten memories, and the lost dreams.
The love that was for you, will return again.
Keep those secrets to myself, and torture me
my love, with every smile and with every kiss
you gave him.
Take away all the happiness you once had
given me, and replace it with hate.
Cut my heart open and you'll see your name
carved in every space and corner of me.
The last wish lies beneath the torment of
not having you. Destiny's hands had swept me
away and took you to the hands of someone else,
and I wish those hands were mine. To gently caress
you the way a queen should be. You took my words
for granted, but every single word I spoke,
were true and real.
As you sail through the sea of life, I will
look after you. Though you're not mine.
Beneath, above, beyond....
Forever.

Knocking At Your Door

The dawn will come, so is the day
of our dreams... or only mine?
Let me walk through your life...
freely. Open the doors and meet me.
A stranger now, a handful of fantasies.

The quiet voice, a roaring thunder within.
The calm waters, and the raging currents below.
The soft wind, a blistering storm ahead.
Give me a sign. For I am blind to see what's
inside your mind.

The night will come, so is the moment
I have been waiting for.
Break the silence, break the walls that has
been keeping me at bay.
Reveal unto me, the colors of your heart.
Let you feel the warmth, the comfort of
true intentions.
The pain we felt before, we'll drown them away.
With the brightness of the future ahead of us.
If we make the right choice.

Come and speak, come walk with me for a moment.
Give me a little of your time, a little of
yourself, as I give my entire self to you.

The dawn will come, so is the day
of my dreams... yet unknown.

The Ashes of Yesterday

She cries at the nothingness of life ahead.
The dark grey sky, we weep because of
the solitary love, and that is love for
one self.

Look at her, we see the future so bright
and clear. Plant a seed and take her
to the gardens,
her heart is already taken and cannot be
mine.

We talk and touch, just wanted to be in a
place where you and i be one.
Winters chill, the smoke clears every night
i stare at the stars.
And only a shadow of you is with me.

I told you what's inside this troubled mind,
and left so much unsaid.
Feel free to cry, alone, we reached the heights
of true love.

Tomorrow is the same, as time goes by
I am left behind. The memory of you
is with me,
'til the fire burns out and when only the
ashes remain.

Last Tear From Heaven

We count the days as we travel through time.
The great distance, I see everything in the eyes of
a loved one. Music plays within, as we danced through
the night of the fallen. But still we smiled as we
counted the stars falling from the heavens.
We made drips of love out of rain.. wipe your tears
and take away the pain... Oh, how often does this happen?
I cling to the very last second, hoping to bring enough of you
with me tonight. I have shed enough tears for you.
And my mind is tired. Pretend that everything never happened is
just so hard for me to do. I looked at your pictures
and listened to your voice. I kept all the letters
and everything that came from you. There is a new
day waiting. A new life to be lived. My heart will
keep on searching, until she is revealed. Your rose
will have a special place, though withering through the hands
of time, but will never ever fade, until the very end of time.

America

Full of dreams. A child hoped for better days.
The innocence of his eyes. Can't help but
wonder what's it like to be out there.
To be in a world many of us dreamed of reaching.
Leave the place we once knew in exchange
of an uncertain promise.
Goodbye, he once said... and everyone who left
meant it. And there's regret that'll never die.
There'll always be days you'll come crawling back
and reach within, just to find memories
of your past that'll never go away.
The ghost of time embraced you.
Nights turned to mourning. Sleepless... your fears
haunt you in your sleep. Tired... just no more
left inside. The fire has died and so am I.

Sunset

Days and nights felt the same. As if nothing really changed.
The mornings were spent the same way as I used too. But sunsets
were different and felt incomplete. For once there were two shadows,
two souls sitting on the edge and spoke of the promises and dreams.
The sun as our witness, of an undying fire.
And now there's nothing... just a distant memory.
Look here my dear, my hopes for us is as numerous as the grains
of sand, though washed away by the waves but has always returned...
For it's meant to be here and it's not going to disappear.
Sometimes, we found solace in loneliness.
That I have come to know you even more, in your absence.
That once, love was only a friend but now my lover.
Here I stand, as I watch you walk towards me as if you were
real.. I make you real. That I am staring out the ocean and I know
you are too. For I am still holding on to something and there's
no way to let it go. That maybe someday the love that was lost will
find it's way back home... and both of us will be back at a place
we once loved and see the fire rise again from the depths of the sea.

The Search

If you only had one wish what would it be?
Would it be something that can change your
life completely, or something that will make
you very happy. I have guilt inside, it's just something
i have no power to control, it is something divine
something you've got to respect, because
this is something worth dying for. It is something
we search for but only a few discover. It is something
we thought we already knew but really have no
idea of what this truly means. We've got to respect
it's power, for it is the most powerful feeling in
this world over. It is universal.

Some people search for a lifetime and fail,
and they ask themselves where to find hope.
I know i can't live without it. I had my shares of happiness
and sorrows and both inspired me in different ways,
and it's effect can be both constructive and destructive.
We all got to know what we're dealing with. In my
whole existence i have failed to find the truest, purest...
and none of them were able to give their all but i do give it all
and suffered in the sunset.

When will we learn? This is not a game we play and finish
like it's going to be forgotten in an instant. We're going to
carry this with us 'til the falling of the leaves... 'til the end
of our days. And to me this is something more than anything
you could ask for... you can't and you will never ever going to find
it when you don't believe in it. It is something that comes to you
when you have faith in it. And most of us don't.

And alot of people tried to tell what this is about and what it means
to them and to us but no one really can. It's not enough, never enough
to define something so huge and bigger than us, it is impossible.
We just look at that someone and when you feel it you know it is there.
And you know that moment is special.

To me.......
this is poison, this is heaven... it is good and can be pain.
this is numb, this is feeling... it is passion at it's purest.
Cry at night til the morning. Can't get enough, no nothing is enough.
And you keep asking for more and more even if it hurts most of the time.
Because you need it and you want it and it is worth it.
And if you see it you grab on to it and don't let go.
You cherish it and you don't take that for granted
because what you have is so precious.
And i wouldn't stop drinking it til it runs dry.
And i hope it never runs dry....
And that's my only wish.
