The Ashes of Yesterday

She cries at the nothingness of life ahead. The dark grey sky, we weep because of the solitary love, and that is love for one self. Look at her, we see the future so bright and clear. Plant a seed and take her to the gardens, her heart is already taken and cannot be mine. We talk and touch, just wanted to be in a place where you and i be one. Winters chill, the smoke clears every night i stare at the stars. And only a shadow of you is with me. I told you what's inside this troubled mind, and left so much unsaid. Feel free to cry, alone, we reached the heights of true love. Tomorrow is the same, as time goes by I am left behind. The memory of you is with me, 'til the fire burns out and when only the ashes remain.
