Walking With Angels

I walk along the road you walk on
I do not know where it leads
I do know without you
My heart always bleeds

You lead me on this road we walk on
I do not know where we are,
But as long as were together
It doesn’t feel as far

You are my guardian angel.
You protect me from myself.
You are my protector.
You saved me from myself

You are my angel,
Loyal and true.
My faithful companion,
My guide,
My love.

Behind the Yellow Door

I heard knocking on the yellow door
The soft gentle taps,
In my mind sounded like roars

I listened for a second longer
to hear the knock again
the stormy wind of the past
tore through me with so much pain.
For you have to understand
it not just a yellow door.
this door leads to memories,
of pain and joy and so much more.

Behind this door are my memories.
And I’ve hidden the keys
I’ve hidden in the darkness
until someone comes for me.

This is what happens
when you get lost in the past.
My souls went in hiding.
This fate was mine. Alas,

With trembling hands
I unlocked the door
I do not know what awaits me out there anymore.
It’s the pain that gets me first,
The pain of loss
The pain of grievance
The pain of love

Then came a familiar feeling,
And with it appeared a familiar face
I walked out of the door proudly
Towards the one that got away.
He holds out his hand,
and the fear is no more
I feel like uncharted land I walk on
but when he kisses me.
I’m home!

Workshop Poem : I, Puppet

BASH my skull in why don't you
since you've bashed my heart in
you've torn my soul from my body
you spread it thin

the shear taste of your humiliation
leaves a sour taste in my mouth
as you twisted my heart
as ruined my mind

BASH my head in why don't you
BEND my body to your will
I'm one of your puppets
Cruel puppeteer

your words mark my back,
with bold words of ghostly shame.
your words encase pain
your words cuts through bones

i display my scar
as time only would sooth me
as i patiently wait, for when
The puppet,
Masters the puppeteer

Admiration

I stare at you from afar,
 and you smile at me
not knowing it took just that moment
for you just steal my heart

My Cross To Bear

I have my cross to bear
I have a long way to walk
I beg, do not press your cross on me
Do not break my back.

My hand and back are bleeding,
My clothes dirty and torn.
The crows watches me passing
they tease as I suffer your scorn.

Don’t shun me away
Do not make me despair
me too, like you.
I’ve got my cross to bear

The Mortal In Immortality

Pitter Patter, Pitter Patter.
The shadow is back again,
knocking awkwardly on my door.
I ignore it again.

Every hour after the next,
It knocks on my door again
This time I changed my mind
I welcomed the shadow in.

It was but my own reflection,
staring back at me stunned,
 I stared in my reflections,
Deep dark eyes so profound.

I’m sorry for the insistence, it said
I came as soon as I could
I traveled with eternity dragging my feet,
so I must go really soon.

I came to carry a message
from my dear friend death
He said he shall see you
before you take your last breath.
Soon like me he will knock at your door,
he won’t hurt nor take you, or so it seems
He will though look into your deepest sins.
He shall probe and shall dig.
And he shall send the sin eaten to rid you of your sins.

Only then can you evolve.
only then can you be free.

She then smiled and whispered,
Soon, you won’t belong here anymore.
I observed the pale figure,
I open my mouth to speak.
From the carriage outside,
a deep voice boomed loud:
We must leave now my sweet immortality
we shall not be stuck in time

Muse

Love is a language i understand too well
I learn it each time i hear you laugh
That melodious sound, like an enchantment, a spell

oh yes love is a language i understand too well
it speaks to me every time i lay my eyes on you
i cherish it every time I'm with you

oh love the language, i do understand
it makes my heart beats to your song
your love, an inspiration
and you my muse.

Love To the Nice Man

The nice man asked me once
a question, I gave some thought too,
he seemed curious and entranced
so I listen to what he said:

What is love he asked
is it just a mere word,
since its widely spoken aloud
by faithful hearts
and deceitful mouths

Is it but a weapon
used to make grown men primitive
and wild?
And grown women hysterical, jealous
and vile?

Maybe it’s used to tame,
make the men grovel
make women beg

Or maybe a state of being
Maybe a state of mind
Happy and coy,
The dreamy smiles.
The joy.

I answered
yes it’s a word,
a word I want to tell you everyday

Maybe it’s a weapon,
one you’ve used to capture my heart.
A state of being,
for I am joyous, being here with you.
Love is how it feels like to be with you.

Incubus

I cast you out
seduction of darkness
my heart shall remain mine.
My soul you shall not oppress.
In my beauty I shall shine.

You were born from darkness
but there purity in you,
I like to hope the likeliness
that your light would shine through.

Your heart is my anchor
your love is my sin.
My battle within.

Hollow Man

The joy that used to lit your face,
has now been erased.
Your face now shadowed.
hollowed.
Plastered with disdain

I knew you before you knew yourself.
I got pulled in by your light,
Now i stare at this reflection before me,
dread tugs at my heart,
At the sudden realization,
You are not you any more

The exuberance you one exerted,
defeated by the harsh trials of life.
That has now twisted you into a devoid man.
Leaving me staring dumfounded.
Into a strangers eyes
