Shawn Munoz Poem
Miles of roads while blowing horns
tiresome bodies their eyes are sore,
Trying to reach a rest stop to avoid
a jackknifed load.
Hauling the necessities to survive in this world,
whether it's Gas, Food or Motor oil.
Driving a semi the juggernaut of the road
maneuvering in all conditions even the blistering cold.
Away from Friends and Families away from their homes
Holidays and private events are void they're all alone.
A hard grip of the wheel avoiding reckless drivers
swerving in to unforseen debris blowing out tires.
A grueling shift comes to an end locking up the Trailer,
Arriving to the sanity of their homes ready to retire.™©

Shawn Munoz Poem
We are strong and may be brave, We
keep our Emotions locked in a Cave.
As we were young growing to a
mature age some of our Fathers
stayed to help raise, While other
Wannabe fathers left far far away.
We may be lost flying through thick
haze and pouring Rain, Some of us
just search for a nurturing embrace.
We are referred to as Dogs and that
we are all the same, We go through
Hell and beyond to prove that we are
not that mislead stray.
We endure countless Battles as we
travel through rough terrains, At
times our tempers get the best of us
and fuel our Hearts with Rage.
The song of a Woman's Voice seems
to calm our inner raging Beast, At
times we are rejected when we're on
a bended knee.
It takes a lot for a Man to cry and
when we cry we look towards the
sky, We look for answer asking for a
sign.
When a Man cries we sometimes
choose to hide, Cause we can no
longer deal with the Pain inside. ©™

Shawn Munoz Poem
So far it's been 35 years since I started to roam the Earth, You only stood in my life from birth until i was 11months then left me with no trace not even a word.
I try to forget about you but in my mind you still creep in, Why put me through this mental torture was I such a sin ? I'm surprised you didn't throw me into a trash bin.
At times I fall asleep with tears in my eyes wondering what was your reasons for disappearing, also wondering if you did the same to my unknown siblings.
In fact it's a whole half of my bloodline that I don't know, Did you even advise them of my existence ? How can you as a "Woman" have a Heart so cold ?
As I grew older I tried to track you exhausting many options and logic, I guess I have better chances of meeting Jesus before we ever discuss this topic.
I was raised by my Paternal side of the Family who nurtured and watched me grow, Now I found the Woman who I will soon marry God willing adopt some children and start my own Family.
I am not poor nor am I rich 1 thing's for sure I will never be like you you disgraceful Witch, The pains you have caused me I would never wish on another since you decided to run and go in to deep cover, I'm glad I don't have to refer to you as a Biological Mother.

Shawn Munoz Poem
I may not be Perfect but I have one of the purest Heart of Gold, I carry my Heart on my sleeve and like this I shall be until I grow old.
I'm not a bookworm or Original Gangster I do however have an old-school mentality an original Latin Flavor.
I can be as humble as my upbringing allows me to but don't be fooled, I can easily tell it like it is become a Puerto Rican Iceman with a cold tongue and cut you with brutal truths.
I love the day yet I find more tranquility at night embracing it's Gothic vampiric presence, Just lay back count the stars and be entrapped by the Moonlights essence.
I am a vested individual with many earned patches you can try to figure my world but there are many methods to my madness.
I am no poser I am who I am I Love my Family and cherish true Friends my name is Shawn Munoz I say this with a thunderous shout you can choose to stay a part of world or simply get out. ™©

Shawn Munoz Poem
You may not know me but I know about you. Should you ever find your way to me with open arms I shall receive you.
It's not your fault that we aren't a part of each others lives, The feeling of not being a part of your hearts feels like a thousand knives piercing my soul all at once.
For as long as I live this dreadful thought will always be a part of me until the day meet. As a Brother I should be protecting you, holding you, picking on you, argue with you, Kick ass for you and most important Love You.
Where there's a will there's a way I'm a firm believer that one day we'll cross paths and scream out YAY, However if you have no knowledge of me let me introduce myself, My Name is Shawn Muñoz I'm 36 Raised in the Bronx now living in Florida where I shall await the 3 of you. ™©

Shawn Munoz Poem
Little Kinley Raine warrior of light,
When you came into this world
You came in ready to fight.
Our thoughts were full of Prayers
hoping for you to have a chance,
Although we were on a mental coaster
We held our ground with a positive stance.
After a Month God decided it was to soon
for you to stay with us and bloom,
It's hard for all of us but we understand
other plans were in-store for you.
My little niece meeting you was a pleasure,
I wish we could've spent more time together.
Kinley we love you and miss your adorable
face, When you get a chances to sneak away
come back down here and give us a spiritual
Embrace. R.I.P Kinley Raine.

Shawn Munoz Poem
Bacon oh bacon you greasy little devil,
You have my full attention when i hear that frying pan sizzle.
Your aroma so intoxicating, Your taste is just pure bliss,
Each bite just keeps getting better my head spins like the Exorcist.
You're the duct tape of the food industry cause you add that extra flava,
I don't care if i'm going broke i'm hungry , for you i'll pay that extra dolla.
My belly is content I have a smile across my face,
Bacon oh bacon when I eat you
you take me to my happy place.

Shawn Munoz Poem
We go through life dealing with Pain
inside yet we paint a Picture to a
public figure of a Head raised high.
Emotional torture and Thunderous
cries from a screaming Heart
echoing deep down inside.
You get on your knees to clasp your
hands and pray to pour out your
mind asking to take the pain away.
Heartache comes in many different
shapes at unknown levels from any
angle words can not convey.
You fight Internal Battles everyday of
your life armed with only your whit
and your pride to defeat those
Demons that lurk inside.
You take a deep breath and release
an Earth trembling yell telling your
inner Demons and others that have
hurt you GO BACK TO HELL , INSIDE
OF MY HEART AND INSIDE OF MY
MIND YOU'LL HAVE NO PLACE TO
DWELL ! ™©
The Moral of this Poem is never let
anything or anyone for that matter
get the best of you in any shape,
way, or form. Above all never let
these entities get the satisfaction of
your tears.

Shawn Munoz Poem
A little Prayer that I wrote.
Guide my Ride.
Dear Almighty in Heaven above
Please place your Hands on my
Shoulders and hold on to them
Strong,
Please keep the Sanity in my Mind ,
Guide my Ride, and prevent me from
Driving faster then my Angel can Fly,
And for Our fallen Angels who Ride in
the Sky, may You keep Guiding their
Rides in to Your Light away from the
Evil that leads to the Dark Side.
AMEN.
