A River Flows

A river in an African deep jungle,
They saw you and me as foreigners
when we decided to throw our selves
beneath the waters with our clothes on.
We let our waves of thoughts
get us wet,
and spoke the truth to each other
without words.
We smiled and shed some tears,
we held each other,
and never touched the ground.
We dived into the warmth,
and touched transparency….

They always lived here
and never noticed
that dreams are found
within their reach.
The rives runs,
Its warmth is infinite,
and yet for them
its cold and still.
We had a dream,
and they had none.
Our dream is true
and who should know
if they would see,
our dream as theirs,
or just one day
create their own,
and see the way
their river flows…

His Fire and Her Ice

Orange and yellow
Red and deep purple
In the existence of
Pure unlimited passion,
Unpredictable mystery,
And a shocking reality.

His fire is unstoppable
Even if he tried to stop
His flames spread
All through his strong heart.
He deeply knows
And clearly feels
That his soul is made of
Sun light rays.

Blue and light green
Brown and black
Surrounding expectations of
Unlimited romance
Interrupted by the fear
Of a wide eyed future
And a bittersweet truth.

Her Ice is unbreakable
Even if she tried her best
To make it melt
The coldness spread
All through her fragile heart
But she never knew
Or felt that
Her soul is made of
Silver moonlight

Tango Serenade

Her red dress
Flowing in the air
Like flames
It burns,
Her wide hazel eyes
Sharply looks,
Her Brown tall curls
Dance
Whenever she turns around
and makes a loud sound
with her high healed black sandals,
Her thick red lips
softly sings.

He passionately plays his violin,
His stick goes back and forth
on its strings,
His arm quickly moves,
His deep black eyes
directly stares at her;
tracing every movement
waiting every reaction.

She feels she wants more,
She can move more,
dance more,
He provides her with energy;
His eyes, his smile,
His music controles
every movement she makes,
every sound she utters.

His stick,
His magnetic force,
His creative powers
invites her to life
He is a magician!

She can dance forever,
look at his face forever,
hear his music forever,
love him forever.

Now,

He owns the world.

Her Square of Fear

A hypnotist
softly speaks.

Heavy eyes lids,
Butterflies behind her eyes,
Slow heart beats,
Soft breaths,
Memories…

She was in a Riot.
It seemed to be intense.
A Revolution has started,
And everything was a mess.
In The streets of Egypt,
The Smell of tear gas
Was suffocating,
Tears were shed,
Eyes were blurred.
She found herself at last
In Tahrir square,
Full of anger,
Full of fear,
And death was everywhere.
She now remembers why
She has been afraid to leave the house
For more than a whole month.
She has been afraid to watch the news,
Or even the political shows.
She remembered how many people lost their eyes,
And how loud she heard their cries.
She suddenly screamed,
and was wide awake.

A hypnotist
A silent room
Reality…

In a Snow Globe

Leave your little round world,
Leave the fake snow,
Leave those people,
 who turn you upside down,
Who think you are just a statue.

A snow globe,
Water inside,
White round objects,
Plastic little houses,
And you are standing
With your white dress,
Waiting for someone who
Glimpses through your transparent prison,
Who gives you an earthquake as a gift,
Puts you on the shelf
 And then leaves.

Is that what you are waiting for?
You don’t have the chance to swim!
You don’t have the chance to touch the truth!
Stop being a statue!!
Stop making others believe
That whatever they do
Will never hurt you,
Stop hiding your tears
Inside a curtain of waters…..

Glass should be broken,
Water should be spilt,
Tears should be streaming,
Their drops should appear,
Hot on you cheeks
Salty on your lips
Sugary in your heart…

Towards Our Love

Leave your fake hill
And come with me
To my dream mountain
Of ecstasy.
Engrave your name
On every stone
That builds every part
around my untouched heart.

Leave your house of uncertainty
And come with me
To my large castle of belief
And just believe,
Believe in me,
Believe in us,
In every step we could take,
Towards the truth,
Towards the reality,
Towards our love.

Her Recipe

Melting Chocolate with cinnamon,
Dropping chili on them,
Some lemon drops,
Mixed with orange juice,
All together,
So hot ,
Intensely smelt,
In a deep pot,
Held with both hands,
Some drops on the lips,
Felt by a confused tongue,
Then flowing inside,
With a bitter sweet pleasure...
That’s what she did
When she found that
She is more complicated
Than she ever thought!
