Mathematics

Mental stretching, the required sacrifice
Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
To all exercises, these four are the basics
Hell on paper but sweet in its understanding
Equations and formula, serving as raw products
Mastering the existence of numbers to gain its wisdom
Arithmetics also in a graphical representation
Then its technicalities in shapes and planes
Into life's activities, these applications silently integrate
Calculation of numbers and expressions
Sum up all problems via solutions to an answer.

Wake Up Oh Africa

With the heavy load you suffer a substance not needed yet drags you cushioning your efforts and deterring your pace, forgetting that the Train is already moving with passengers determined for this journey. Why get so distracted by passers-by focused to catch up? Why are you tossed side to side, putting you each time, a step backwards? Can't you realize that the Train is already moving with passengers determined for this journey? It seems you are the only one left and this is solely your doing with no one to blame and the rest, definitely have no added advantage over you. So stop acting weak cos the Train is already moving with passengers determined for this journey. Wake up oh Africa! you get your independence just to become a volunteer slave. You live in a Mansion yet have no place to sleep. Stop acting like a bucket of Crabs killing each other just to get out and copy the ants united and networking for a common cause. You fight for just a coin underneath the Table. When on it is a box full of this same treasure. Despite knowing how to reach out to its top, you neglect such knowledge and accept conflicts, violence and wars. Settling for good enough is worst than being bad you blow your trumpet when you make a step out of a thousand more. You show unbelievable contentment to mediocrity and under-achievements, but remember this! Half a giant is no giant at all. You have the breast plate of protection and all the arsenals to battle yet you dine with the helms of poverty and embrace the ambassadors of all kinds of infirmities. You walk around naked and seem not to bother oh Africa! Do you exist to actualize all these negativity? An expert of imitation and a professional in copying no wonder no matter your trys you end up as number 2 at best. Because you've neglected the sweetness of your originality. You milk your cattle to nourish the west you harvest your crops to feed foreign stomachs you stand on abundant humus yet your leaves are yellow and dry. Exactly what will happen to the ants if their Queen puts their fate on the lizards is what will befall you not until you wake up oh Africa!

Lifes Simplicity Maintained

You were born in a specialist clinic I was born at the front door of my house we both came into this world and survived. You’ve been eating foreign cuisines and expensive delicacies I’ve been taking porridge and traditional soups we both have grown and are a significant part of the society. You go to school in Jeeps and exotic vehicles I use public transport and finish it up with a walk we both went to learning institutions and acquired knowledge. You roll with the high and mighty and get a super model married I’m surrounded by the middle class and marries one never will be in Wikipedia we both are active in the food chain and wonderfully living our lives. You become a CEO or rather own a firm I get employed by you to run your empire we both sure need each other to function and drive. Gold and Diamonds will decorate the casket of your funeral mine may not even be worthy of a coffin, just a plain box we’ll nevertheless be dead and our chapter closed without preference. It is only a pathology when the eye gets larger than its socket, comparison cuts the muscles of esteem and gives greed a new suit, making simplicity a very complex attribute to attain and a life full of complexities a better friend to existence. Life is simple, we just make it complicated. A civil servant wants to live at par with a tycoon allowing his throat tie down the strength of his hands. Every destination has different roads, be it the highway or a rocky path. Take the one within your speed limit, the timing may show some reaching before or better than others but the most important thing is, the destination reached as achievement is decorated while life stay simple.

Your Body, Your Touch

Your feelings in a group of touring innocence
travel up North towards trust and sincerity
in sweet submissive care like a carefully rubbed suede.
You put day light into your entrapment
for noontide to go nonstop.

Caress from yonder, massage from under
your skirts make appetite nonchalantly mourn
your legs present so nutraceutical to manly weakness.
If your bones are licked by wild beasts
the jungle would be protected by the ghost of sweet affection.
If the rains fall through the planes of your body
vapours of lust and desires will spring out of the Earth.

Your expensive flare, expresses you as a needed nougat
sliding pleasurably though wet lips in a greasy enjoyment of noodles
with aroma and taste capping up a nouvelle cuissine.
Night is dead from your day-long engaging chemistry
making the aggression of your nubile emission
in ration to any attempted resistance an improper fraction
when the night's light strike your contrasting body
for the creation of a mobile image so dark and graceful,
nature will sit down beauty for a serious interview.

Hell's Hospitality

The sun cries for us, its heat fades away
snowflakes sprinkle round its orbit, yet go unmelted
it feels like evening, but its yet noon
time never changes its pace but now runs from a rifle
daylight sadly pretends, just to soften night's mockery.

Blood has substituted the rains
death has defined our borders
humanity is rendered homeless
and politics, given the borrowed authority of a landlord.
Life is cheaper than wine
tribal dominance exhibited in a show glass
for love to become an expired product.

Unity is deprived of its oxygen
from a gang of beasts, spare headed by religion.
Genocide celebrated, killers protected
understanding and cooperation, required from the affected
silence and denial, demanded from the afflicted
marginalization defended and grievances rejected.

The edge of the cutlass strikes harder than racism
Indigenes in their own homes hit worse than xenophobia
hope is lost, drowned in the sea of Impunity
faith is locked up in a cage underneath evil's valley
decades of cries to the heavens
the tears flow down to meet more affliction.

The sun rises, but presents in dark red
setting hours later to the notice of no one
a people bounded on falsehood
a large home of smaller fenced habitations
as everyone needs protection from everyone
and where space becomes too small for the stars;
but when distinguished into different galaxies,
it beams brighter to be a better decoration.
An unbearable course too small for the river to flow
makes nature justify its split into tributaries.
Enemies can no longer be in one home,
so live and let's leave, or leave and let's live
is the only policy left for us all
and the survival anthem for this beautiful garden
no more suitable for community germination.

Fighting God

You promised to take care of me like a new cherished bride I cling to it, waiting until at the point of suicide now your expectations and my anger collide because your blessings seem to always find a place to hide I try to be my own guide then you caution me and call it pride very little, you want me to decide and you say I’ll be okay by just being on your side I’m tired and have kept all these talk aside following my own path and taking my ride my self belief has beaten faith landslide everything about you in me must suffer a genocide your rules and ordinances, no more will I abide if serving you comes with trials then I wish my loyalty had long died and the dividends of my worship to you, just divide Lord God! Now I know twas an uneasy stride now I understand, your blessings and my discipline must coincide now I’ve seen that your love is so high and wide and hating you is like becoming the voluntary victim of a homicide I said you do not care, please Lord, I lied Your ways are mysterious indeed You searched my heart and all you saw was greed because only my desires and blindness I feed and you knew among the wheat, I’ll be a weed. Despite I, not taking heed You were still patient and ever ready to lead You never gave me what I wanted nor stick to my timing but at the appointed time, lavished me with all I need while watering my entire efforts’ seed. Thank you heavenly father! Leaving your presence, I now forbid and serving you wholeheartedly is henceforth my utmost deed.

An Unshakable Identity

hospitality, peace and mutual respect; we’ve chosen because the key to our prosperity is love, unity and cooperation settlers now on the cheat as our true identity is kept frozen but no matter what! We will reverse it with our landmark ordination the threats against our heritage and culture may have risen it has kept us unique, unshakable and uncompromising though there are bastard judases in every dozen the failure and exposure of their deeds are amusing the buckles of our identity we will never loosen no matter how the invader tries strategizing or putting our inheritance into some sort of categorizing No! is the answer, none of us will lose being a complete citizen

Words of Wisdom To My Child

You grow so fast, already showing glimpse of awesome creativity and transform discoveries from the industrious nature of your observations so squat at my feet and raise your attentive head up high to be equipped for this compulsory journey oh sweet creature of my seed. My hands of your molding and chastisement are already the processing engine of your refinement my strong willed mind and love soaked heart complete the stages as you hold steadfast to the train I’ve prepared for you Listen attentively as I perform this segment of my duties and lets take a tour round the routes of wisdom and gallivant the landscape of experience while I pedal your feet and smoothen your soles Seasoned flavored virtues are an armour through which life’s shots are overcomed and a colourful behaviour becomes a saviour in times of need Labor not your whole life in chasing vapour for out of vigour, flour is made from wheat, Bread from flour, but all for a time of enjoyment and satisfaction Guilty syndrome is exhibited when a person answers unasked questions and don’t force out jokes from your head or else people will think your sense of humor is on a life support Sunset is no accuse for the clock to stop running ad infinitum thus, an excuse is like a punctured umbrella it’ll still not stop the invasion of raindrops Your natural desires are borderless, but your ability to strongly control them is what makes you distinct from other species in the animal kingdom Love has no prefix, suffix or adjective it is what it is and as powerful as causing natural instincts to be abdicated in favour of kindness just for the carnivore to embrace abstinence. He who begins a tale becomes its reference don’t say what you cannot defend in court rumour is a bad odour which spreads beyond the neighbourhood and puts a noisy siren on your personality Bad companionship will lead you to the garbage and corrupt friends will join others to marvel at the immortality of your adopted stupidity Wash your face every morning with these words and take your every meal with these lines then would they be spices to which your life is preserved.

No Roundabout- Its a Straight Road

Love is ultimate, but with you it was fatal. I had lots of laughter not until I said “I love you too!”. Number two was my certified location b’cos I’ve always reverenced you so high at the topmost of priorities. Your gladness was much more than my enjoyment, it germinated into compulsory duties I had to perform. My pride became your belt and my shame, your underpants. The definition of me translated to the adoration of you. I worry to give us a balance but you hurry to topple the equilibrium. My life, a spreadsheet of your errands, subjecting my feelings into a standby to suit your taste and exhausting comfort. But one day! The slightest of contact with an acid will change the litmus colour and a continuous debt by a tenant will abruptly render him homeless. Your oil is used up, the engine is knocked and the lamp has gone dark. A heart so tender, you deserve not. Arms once warm have been frozen to rigor motes. My back is turned towards you and that beauty, you’ll never see again. Go and taste the seedlings of the city’s daughters and the well sauced soups of its young maidens. I’m no longer yours even if nature advocates for mercy. Consider my sweetness and calm now as stones mixed in dough, baked and served with vinegar. You proclaim “I’m now a completely changed man”, I believe you, but for the next girl. Know this Mr. Irresistible guy, even if you’re the last birth of all men I’ll never again present my affections for your selfish trade. Goodbye my past lover, I sincerely wish you well.
