The Cold, Cold Night

The days drag by day by day
And the only thing I can say,
Is I hope you're still thinking my way.
As I lay and think all day and night,
About you and our perfect night.
It went by so fast, a blink of an eye,
While I shot out all those corny lines.
You're smile never seemed to fade,
As we stared into the night amazed.
The stars were as bright as you're eyes
And the air was so cold we almost died.
But we snuggled close to stay alive,
And we never really seemed to mind.
How cold it was because you see,
We never had such great shivers in our knees.

Life, Love, Death

A song to you;

My days, they seem to fade.
My nights, they never end.
My days, they seem to bend.
My nights, they seem to spin.

My dreams, of you and me,
There meant to be.

My days, they seem like a maze.
My nights, they seem to take flight.
My days, oh my days dissipate.
My nights, yes my nights end.

My dreams, of you and me,
There meant to be.
There meant to be
You and me,
We're meant to be.

The Present.

I've become one of those kids forgotten and all,
One of those kids who just aren't in the hall.
The kid that got along with everyone,
But a kid that left and moved from everyone.
Alone I sit thinking of that life,
The life I loved and how I lived that life.
Now I sit alone all day and night,
Wasting away once was, my beautiful life.

Three A.M.

I lay awake thinking of you,
At 3 A.M, I love you.
From the day we met till this very day,
I'm still so crazy about you babe.
My mind goes through the memories we have,
But then the to the ones we could have had.
I wish I was there to kiss you goodnight,
And I wish you were mine for all my life.
I never could imagen losing you,
Because without you I would lose myself.
You're all I really think about,
And you're the only one I talk about.
But knowing I have a place in you're heart,
Makes the feelings flutter to my heart.
Because you own this very heart,
Never let it go into the dark.
But this poem was written to you babe,
At 3 A.M.,
I love you.

Willow Tree

A song I wrote, hope you enjoy and can feel the beat. :)

I went in the room and I saw her asleep
Then I followed the dog as he wanted to pee.
The cold winter wind howled at me
While I walked down the block by the big willow tree.

(Chorus)
But today, I tell you this story you see
Because,
It all fell from me.

She packed up her bags and said she must leave
I pleaded and asked, 'Why do you do this to me?'
She said she loved me but she needed to be,
Alone for awhile to see what she needs.

(Chorus)
But today, I tell you this story you see
Because,
It all fell from me.

Just me and the dog laying under a tree.
We watched as the birds flew by the bees.
He chased after a bird and left me by the tree,
As he got hit by a car and left me to be.

(Chorus)
But today, I tell you this story you see
Because,
It all fell from me.

Alone as I waited, counting the weeks.
I hoped that one day she'd come back to me.
But the years went by and never a peep
So alone I sit,
by that big willow tree.

Absolute Love

Through the rain that falls thick as milk,
I see a face of a girl as she lurks.
Sad and alone trugging along,
I wonder what could have went wrong.
I approached her ever so slightly
As not to startle her blindly.
I said 'are you okay?' and she looked up at me,
With sadness in her eyes as she shivered ever so slightly.

She said, 'I'm alright just trying to get home',
'As my boyfriend left me here all alone.'
I asked, 'How could someone abonded such beauty?'
And she blushed and said you're such a sweetie.

So I drove her home through the rain storm,
And she talked about her love of storms.
I shared my love for them as well
And we giggles about it all the way home.

I asked for her number and she smirked,
And I told her how I would treat her much better than that jerk.
She wrote it down and said you better give me a call,
And I smiled and said you're such a doll.

That night was the night I seen true love,
For all these years we stayed,
In absolute love.

Days Away

Todays the day I seen that beautiful face, The face that i spend my days in haze. Pondering in thought of what we could be, Then sitting around letting time slip from 'we'. Approaching you isn't so bad, But asking you on a date is a tad. So here i sit awaiting the day, I come up to you and say, 'hey, wanna go for a walk on this beautiful day?' -Eddie cox

Hate Vs Love

Defending the world against war and hate, Can be a task that leads one to his fate. The struggle to change a corrupted generation From violence to love to save a nation. The hype is about war and money making, When it should be about love and Earth saving. When did living off ones land go out the door? Now it's about attacking the poor. Nations suck poor souls in, And use them as pawns to gain money again. When will the world say no to war? Will it be to late to save the world?

Iloveyou

Everyday it seems the same.
As if you're pushing me farther away.
Day to day I sit and wait,
Hoping you will change your ways.
The love we had and the love you showed,
Seemed as if to turn to a ghost.
I don't understand why this is,
But dear losing you is my biggest fear.
These words they come straight from my heart
So listen up if you care about us.
I love you and you know that,
So stop playing the games and give me the facts.

Nature

My inspiration can be seen by all,
Sitting there trying to inspire all.
It will only full fill this task it seeks
To those open minded and not diseased.
Diseased by the thought of money and greed,
Ruling the world, trapping it at it's knees.
When the world sees the end, it will long to be,
Inspired by my inspiration before the world is freed.
