Latasia Blige Poem
Everyday you see so many faces
That go through so many changes
Some people wear two or three
And still there are many you’ll never see
Because they are hidden at home
And put on when the person is all alone
Many times showing hurt and pain
And sometimes even guilt and shame
When they come back into the streets
Having to meet and greet
Others as they pass by
They pull out a face that has a smile

Latasia Blige Poem
She came to drink
From the well of life
So many times
She was pushed aside
Away from that
Which would change the way
That she choose
To do everything
That day she came
So full of faith
That she would drink
And not be cast away
As she had so many times before
She finally made it to the well
And forever was her life changed
So much to gain
From the experiences behind
For she was no longer in a bind
To her past
She was made free
From it all
Her burdens and yokes made light
And made clean and pure in his sight

Latasia Blige Poem
I hear a melody
in the music of birds
I see someone pass by
in the shadows of cloud
I smell a fragrance
in the flower of the field
I feel a touch
in the wind that blows
Are you the creator of the world
the sun, moon, and stars
Have you created the universe
galaxies, planets, the earth
Did you create the earth
which we live in today
Who are you, Where are you
and what lies ahead
The beauty which we see
has been created by thee

Latasia Blige Poem
Love is something that everyone needs
Whether you have joy or your heart bleeds
Love is the key to a better life
It will keep you from envy and strife
Love is needed in this world today
Evil and violence has led us astray
Love is a light in a dark place
Something everyone will soon face
Love is your gift to give
So give it and let someone live
So many people die of broken hearts
Because those they loved depart
So give this gift to those in sight
So that they see their path is right
