Changing Faces

Everyday you see so many faces That go through so many changes Some people wear two or three And still there are many you’ll never see Because they are hidden at home And put on when the person is all alone Many times showing hurt and pain And sometimes even guilt and shame When they come back into the streets Having to meet and greet Others as they pass by They pull out a face that has a smile
