Seductive Disarray

I didn't crumble or drift off into a fade...
I shrugged off goodbyes faster then they were made...
Watched as they were dipped and soaked in my poetic rage...
As I threw a fist full of words against a framed blank page...
I sat and watched my emotions scatter artistically...
Like candles on a wall it poured in colors so intensely...
A portrait of a misguided soul that has lost its way...
To a poet who paints with a pen in seductive disarray...

Only Together

You were my raindrop and I was your cloud…
We spoke in whispers that were heard out aloud…
I was your teardrop and you were my eyes…
You saw in colors my dreams pass by…
You were my hands and I was your grasp…
We felt our way through the dark and over the past…
You were the letters and I was the word…
We rhymed our way across the sky like wings of a bird…
Together we sleep under rain that has passed…
Holding each other in a love that will last…

"golf Ball"

I'm two inches wide,
                                                  and can drive a person
insane. I roll my own way
even slower in the rain. I am
always still when you need me
too. I spin and slice when not hit
right. I can hook and dive and go
out of sight. I can drop on a green
if the golf gods are there, or I can
land in the sand if they choose or
even care. See a golf ball is bad
and can make a man sad. But
for a hole in one, I would be
very happy and oh so glad.

"october Sky"

An October sky is like no other one....
A cool brisk wind and a clear bright sun....
The whispering breeze of wood burning....
Travels under my nose, and has my senses turning....
Little leaves of color fall so softly, exposing
this maple tree for all to see....
The days are short and the evenings come soon....
An October sky that enhances the moon....
A walk in the park as our feet shuffle through
the fallen leaves....
The children play on this Autumn day, with hints
of green from Summer it seems....
The clouds thicken nicely to make a ceiling for
this night....
For under an October sky, to me every things right...

Yesterday's Candle

Don't be ashamed of yesterday..
We took chances in times of disarray..

Built bridges that we can't cross alone..
Through narrow paths to lead us home..

Forks in the road that divided hearts true..
We went our ways and watched each other choose..

Tread lightly if your path is in the dark night..
Look up to the sky and remember I'm still your light..

Remember yesterday and the wisdom learned..
We shared a candle light but never got burned..

A Leaf Falls

by Michael J Falotico

                                               leaf sprouts on the tree
                                              baby in the carriage sees
                                                 full bloom in summer.

                                              young man sits on bench
                                           colors change as time passes
                                                 old man holds a leaf

"walls Between Passion"

written by Michael & The Mysterious Lady of Soup

                                                 Michael
The walls are tall but I know your there.
I hear your voice and the thoughs we share.
So close but can't touch your hand,
all I could do is spill out my words and let my pencil land.
                                              Lady of Soup
I can feel your heartbeat beyond these walls,
one tear drop and my pencil falls.
The image of you vibrates my desired needs,
every thought about you inside me exceeds.
                                                 Michael
I press my palm on the door,
just to feel your hand makes me want you more.
My chest is beating to your song of desire.
To be inside your body and feel your waves of fire.
                                              Lady of Soup
I take a deep breath to feel your essence here.
In my mind, the image of becomes so clear.
I can not calm a single thought about you.
I place my hands on my chest in hopes you get through.
                                                 Michael
Soon this door will open , and all shall be revealed.
So many things to be said, will start with kisses sealed.
To see you standing in your beauty and appeal
I have to have you as our passion will steal
                                             Lady of Soup
The time has come for us to be in each others arms
before you opened the door, you had me with your charms.
Lets throw these notes away, and feel the desire for each other.
Lets keep this a secret between us, my dear poet and sexy lover..

My Pencil Runs

My pencil plays in my hand....

Outside a card house that can barely stand...

I sketch a paper train on the wall...

Watch it travel from in a frame to the hall...

It passes through pictures from one to another...

From black and white scenes to colors that flutter...

The card house falls as the train pulls in...

And the path of my pencil tears a paper not thin...

Love Conquers Hate

When the rain stops and the tears still flow…
Our souls are unmasked as feelings still show…
Hands that write to lessen the pain…
For my words to be read to keep us sane…
Lasting impressions etched on a wall…
As we sit on the edge of an emotional fall…
We grasp this world and the events that took place…
As our beliefs are tested through the tears on our face…
Hands reached across the land as fear becomes faith…
And warm hearts bleed as love conquers hate…

Across the Page

Walking a tightrope across my inner self…
Dare to look down pass the pages from my shelf…
It tells the story of the mind that sits outside my soul…
Discolored and torn but the meaning still screams from what is whole…
Tiny scars stained by raindrops that never really dried…
Washed down my hand and caressed the tears I could never hide…
The journey left me crawling for my peace…
Onto a table beside a pen I sit and release…
