Heartbreak Sonnet

Heartbreak is like shattered glass
They say they are here forever
Yet while you believed their butt
Forever is a lie, they actually mean never

Planning a future, gets your hopes up
Thinking time would change his mind
If it’s meant to be, it will fill your cup
Little did you know he would find

Someone new better than you’re
The pain he caused he don’t care
You feel like you caused this move
Arguing comes from dare

This broken heart shall heal
One day someone will steal

Princess Turned To Queen

Small tiara, beautiful girl
So much to learn yet also to bare
Burdens pushed on to young but the mountain to climb will have the greatest outcome
While friends come and friends go
While family turns into foe
A beautiful princess awaits the future
A mountain so steep so hard to climb
But the progress she’s making is worth it every time
This princess we see has done what she could to get to where she’s at
From princess to queen
Small tiara to big
A beautiful girl who made it to here
A queen who passes her tiara to her princess and married a mighty king.

This one is for the books a story meant for history where a princess turned into a queen who fought many battles with her friends and some family by her side finally got her happily ever after and the perfect family she could ask for.

British Lit Man

Let’s take a journey
To a far off place
To visit a man full
Of many ways to entertain
He’ll teach you some things
About king James
From learning to interacting
You’ll always be excited
May be some vocabulary
But we can’t forget
Beowulf nor Sir Gawin
And the Green Knight
Though many stories
He’ll also let you express through poetry
Though in time you may forget
But Mr.Cole was for sure the best

Once In a Lifetime Love

Butterflies in my tummy
Heart won’t stop pounding
Thoughts going crazy

Always wanting you around
Sad when you leave
Scared of the future
Ready to take a leap with me

Kisses that make the world pause
Hugs filled with warmth and safety
Cuddles that embrace us as one
Holding hands means I got your back

Your eyes I get lost in
Your smile lights up a room
Your jokes make anyone laugh
And my once in a lifetime love is you

Miserably Wonderful

Good morning time to wake up
You put on clothes then shoes
Smile say hi, laugh some too
Yet still miserably wonderful

Cup of coffee, eat a muffin
Grab your keys, go to work
Do your job, get paid
Yet still miserably wonderful

Get home, cook food
Pj’s on, relax a little too
Westerns on, health is bad
Yet still miserably wonderful

Go to sleep, wake up
Streets of gold, heavenly choir
At peace, no pain
Yet miserably wonderful is now a phrase.

Story of An Addicts Wife

First before you say anything, I'm in love with my husband but the drug addiction gets hard to watch. *Possible trigger warning*
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Bongs, bubbles and needles...
Awake days, even weeks on end
Losing you slowing it's taking you from us...
Sleeping alone to sleepless nights
When will you wake up...
Childhood pain, losing those you care about, so much sadness
Numbing the pain to cope...
Slowly fading away, pulling, pushing...
Though I know the reason I do not know the hold that it has on your soul...
Please come back to us, losing you is a nightmare only getting worse by the day...
By your side always, forever protecting you. I love you my love!
