Because I Live

The possibility of making a dream come true it's what makes life interesting (Quote by Paulo Coelho)

Our elders say: one more day
to get up is one more day to enjoy.
One more day to get dressed, to open the window and watch the beauty around.
Another day of troubles to face, to struggle, another big mountain to challenge.
A new page to read, a new program to watch, a new lesson to learn.
New steps to rehearse in the morning for the the colossal performance at night.
A dream to fight to wake up all the senses.
Wonderful people you have to meet makes you forget about the wrong ones you' ve met.
What it is written, sometimes can't be deleted, but it's always a way to rectify and start a better story.
Because I live, I want to shout to the whole world that I'm alive, that I want to fly.
Because I live, I am a person that fights everyday with myself, the monsters inside, my concerns, my family, my friends, my job, my what will be the next?
But I am alive, that' s much more that I can ask for.
Something that means that I still can breath the air, pulluted, but the one we have.
I can watch the ocean, the sunsets and the new dawns.
Perhaps my life is not what I expected, perhaps everything I'm living now is not as far as I painted when I was starting.
But the years makes you go through unexpected small roads that one day can become highways to run on.
Still young enough, deep inside, to do many performances.
I choose not to act in the limelight, but in the right stage with the spotligh shining on me, because I live and I want to be alive for the next show to be played.

Sun always shines

Have you ever seen a star crying?, they are just bright. Have you ever seen a dark rainbow?, they are full of colour. Have you ever seen a night without its day?, no possible way. Have you ever seen a storm with no end?, never was seen. Everything has a start with its end. Nothing lasts forever. Even the darkest storms have a sun always shining above them and beyond of what we just believe.

Follow Me -POTD-

The night is young,
the night is wild,
don't follow me.

You will find grey surprises,
you will be lost in the shade,
with no light to find a way.

The day is bright,
the day means light,
just follow me,
keep on my side.

Don' t be lost with a candle,
just follow me up there,
I will light the biggest torch
for you to walk safe.

In tune -POTD-

When the wind blows hard, sometimes it takes possessions from you, but all of a sudden It stops and everything can be replaced.

When the sun burns for longtime, the drought ruins your crops, it takes part of you, but all of a sudden it rains and everything can be harvested again.

When you walked towards me,
you got deep into to my heart.
You made many promises,
you became my everything,
and all of a sudden you left,
maybe my heart will heal, but there will always be a scar.

Sometimes the snow falls when the trees are blooming and the birds have already made their nests. The flowers will wither before their time and the birds, confused, will cry.

The things you do everyday,
the small amount of stones
you put in a wall, it will make big changes for tomorrow.
Your behaviour towards others, your words of compassion, your loyalty, your empathy, your kindness and the warmth that you give without asking for anything in return, will drive away any anger that you may feel, and will strengthen your feelings and your soul.

Your religion is nothing but the way you act. Your temple is nothing but your own body.
You will find your peace when your mind, your heart and the path you walk are in tune.

Reflections of Christmas

Cold is here, snow it's a dream. We dream about snow and Christmas, joy and presents.

It's time to consider. It's time to make a balance. Go out to the streets and you will see
lights everywhere.

Some people are happy, other struggle, but it's Christmas everywhere.
Time of reflection, time of commitments. Time for the snowflakes to fall down.

Christmas should be white, Christmas should be the season to be with the ones we love. It's Christmas time here and there. But everywhere is not Christmas.

It's time for remembering about all the ones that won't be sat on the table. Those ones that will have snowed wings but no Christmas at all.

Many children will have sugar in their mouth, other will have sour throat instead. White Christmas are here and there, White Christmas are a happy or sad time. White for ones and black for others.

We still wait for the snowflakes to fall down on everybody, but Christmas are magical, and maybe change the milkyway, your point of view or your complete life.

Christmas have that moment, when you think everything can be different and friendly. A miracle of love can be done.

Happy moments for the children with their toys, thoughtful moments for the old people waiting for Christmas as the last ones.

A gifted Christmas every year, a happy Christmas to celebrate. Another year is gone, another year to be happy because we made it and we have hopes for the new one to come.

Breathing the cold air, feeling the happiness flying above us to wish everybody Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Strong sleigh

Strong sleigh is needed to carry the peace,
a light candle is burning,
blow it out with a wish.

Rocky

Young Lena wandering under a covered sky~ Alone I'm walking not far from my destroyed home. It's nearly Christmas where I live, but Santa Claus won't be here this year. It doesn' t matter too much, because I don't have a chimney or a holly tree to leave the presents. I'm strolling with my friend, a bullfinch that joined me scared and injured. I named him "Rocky" because he is strong. Now he can fly and go, I wish I was him and I could fly too. But Rocky doesn't want to leave me, he stays on my arm. On one hand, I'm sad for him, but on the other hand I'm happy to have him with me. Am I selfish?, maybe yes. Tonight we found a refuge to stay in. We both have mixed feelings, we both are scratching, we both wonder if God forgot about us. We only have a pretzel to share for eating and making it last as much as we can. We try to sleep with the noise, I did it for a while, my dear friend is huddle to me. When I opened my eyes, a soldier was in front of us, he smiled to me, I didn't know what was happening, he just hug me and took us from the refuge. He talked to me quietly and explained where I was going to go. Really?- I was jumping allover with my "Rocky". My dear Rocky, we both go to another country. I have feelings encountered, but It's the hopeful door to take. That soldier is taking us to the airport, he brought lots of pretzles for us to eat and many other gifts we didn't expected. My dear "Rocky" will we have wings enough to be happy? You say yes and so do I, We have an open door to go out from the worst, we will fly for freedom.

Rusty swings

Nights that smell of dew, days that smell of fresh grass, flowers that bloom to be seen for a short time, leaving their fragrance in the air for us to feel that unforgettable instant. Slippery days missed somewhere in the past. Rusty swings forgotten in my backyard that bring back my childhood memories.

A flower in armour

A shy flower tries to bloom
under the heavy showers,
the cold, frost and the season.

It isn't her time to be shown,
but she fights to have her chance.
On a green bush she displays her beauty against the unpredictable, with her tenacity.

A hard pink flower survives
day after day fighting with the
elements trying to defeat her.

A beautiful flower in armour
has a focus in her life,
She blooms when she likes,
not for the others' surprise.

Born To Dance

Born wearing ballet shoes
without knowing,
far in the deep nature,
in the Sakhalin Islands,
a ballet star opened his eyes
for the first time.

Warmed by the love of his
family, he grew up happy
until his life changed.
He travelled without ballet shoes to Riga,
where he saw a new beginning,
still warmed by his mum.

A beautiful blond seven year old boy
started to be rebellious.
A worried mum took him to a ballet school.
He started to dance in an old Soviet school
with many others without names by then.
His ballet shoes fit him so well
that made his jumps popular
all over the world.

Swam Lake, the Nutcracker...
All the best performances for one dancer to be danced.
He flew away to a new country
looking for liberty, which he found for a while.

Money, which he never had before,
opened many doors for him,
as well as popularity and freedom.
Long wings for dreaming above the poor life he had.
Long wings for a beautiful bird
that didn't know how to fly.

Instead he prefered to be keeping fit at day,
showing his best face to be display for the others, but drowning in a glass of miseries and memories mixed
who knows with.
He lost his ballet shoes at the age of 45,
not far from the sea,
kilometres away from his home.

Alone, without anyone knowing,
even his "best friends",
he left this world,
and he didn't know how loved he was,
but the whole world wonders why
we didn't love him before.
