Empowering Love

I try to escape the prison inside my weary mind.
Attempting to find a love devine.
When i leave that cell you are ever omnipresent.
Looking for your life to reinvent.
Everywhere I look you are there,
Smiling back with a devilsh glare.
Everything I hear, its your voice speaking.
As clear as the syringe that enables a tweaking.
And everything I dream, it is you who is dancing,
To the beat of your own drum, it is so enchanting.
I can not run from that scarce unknown
That fuels my ever longing soul.
You are dark with hidden shadows
Having a cry only you can transpose.
I stand amidst you, scared and alone
Wanting to save the damage prone.
As you wake from your blurry slumber
The hearts finally meet and I'm your number.
We are both running, fleaing in fear
pores sweating, from the love that is near.
Our bodies shaking as Our masses collide.
Finally the beating hearts complied.
Every spirit can feel the vibration.
Wondering How two dispaired souls can define a nation.
It is the definition of love that no force can destroy.
Empowering strength only we deploy.

War Poem

The noises of the war cry in my ears

Suddenly I remember all of my fears

A man yells next to me, “Grenade, Grenade!”

As I run, I wish I were home drinking the sweet, sweet taste of Lemonade

Oh, I hope I do not die

I do not wish to see my family cry

As a man is shot down next to me

I think, “When will the war get me?”

As I fight for America, The brave, strong, and true

Thousands are dying for the Red, White, and Blue

Hope

Hope– A fragment of every human being's life

I see every day the joy and peace in this upcoming and growing world.

Also, I see pain and trials and agony, as if God struck down a bolt of hate.

Why do we experience pain?

Is it because we let it consume us like the air we breathe into our broken bodies, our broken hearts?

Today we see so much heartache and tribulation. It seems as if we let in more of the bad than the good.

Life is so hard for you and me.

As the years go on it just gets worse.

Why can’t we just have peace?

War, hate, and disgust is the big news all around us today.

Conflict is overflowing in most societies.

People hate us for color, religion, race, and ethnic backgrounds.

Why can’t we all just get along?

We all have the same nose, same eyes, and body.

We all use the restroom the same way, so why do we discriminate?

Is it because if someone ain’t like us they are wrong, and dirty like scum on a rock down at the bottom of a river or lake?

But to break the news, nobody will ever be the same as the person inside of you.

We are all different and that is what gives me hope that one-day lives

will be changed and the world will come to terms with one another.

This is my dream, prayer, hope, and wish like a quilt with different patterns and one big stitch.

Life

The last day of life could be so soon

Today, tonight, or tomorrow at noon

Live every day to the fullest extent

Make sure the sins can be repent

Many turns, twists, and bends may come

Play the right cards, makes the right choices, and try not to be dumb

Mistakes will happen sure enough

Be BOLD, stand strong, and remarkably tough

But before you expect that you shall wake

Tonight could be the last sweet breath you take

Cherish every memory, moment, and joy

Don’t play around with life as it is your toy

Follow your heart and dreams and you will see

Tomorrow again, you could be
