Hope

Hope– A fragment of every human being's life I see every day the joy and peace in this upcoming and growing world. Also, I see pain and trials and agony, as if God struck down a bolt of hate. Why do we experience pain? Is it because we let it consume us like the air we breathe into our broken bodies, our broken hearts? Today we see so much heartache and tribulation. It seems as if we let in more of the bad than the good. Life is so hard for you and me. As the years go on it just gets worse. Why can’t we just have peace? War, hate, and disgust is the big news all around us today. Conflict is overflowing in most societies. People hate us for color, religion, race, and ethnic backgrounds. Why can’t we all just get along? We all have the same nose, same eyes, and body. We all use the restroom the same way, so why do we discriminate? Is it because if someone ain’t like us they are wrong, and dirty like scum on a rock down at the bottom of a river or lake? But to break the news, nobody will ever be the same as the person inside of you. We are all different and that is what gives me hope that one-day lives will be changed and the world will come to terms with one another. This is my dream, prayer, hope, and wish like a quilt with different patterns and one big stitch.
