I'Ve Seen All the Hurt That You'Ve Been Through

I’ve seen all the hurt that you’ve been through

Written By Dean Masciarelli

August 9, 2010 (7:00pm)

I’ve seen all the hurt that you’ve been through

Because its been little over two years now

Since my heart was literally broken in two

And I want you to know that I truly feel for you

Because I know what it is like to feel like you do

Because its like an emptiness that starts to take
over every ounce of your
being as it slowly begins to consume your soul

And you constantly ask yourself

What have I ever done to deserve all of this sorrow

And I wish that there was a way that I could comfort you

But I don’t have the right answers to give to you

All I can say is that it is a big bad world out there

So just try to take each day one day at a time until you finally recover

Of course there will be some days that will be much harder then others

Because there will be a part of you that will wish that you were still together

But you have to remind yourself what you shared together is finally over

Just remember that an angel will always be watching over your shoulder

Until you are able to get your composure back together

And then a day will come when everything will be much brighter then it ever was before

Because someone will come around that will love you and truly believe in forever

Because they will be searching for all the same things that you have been searching for

And that’s when you can finally say that the good Lord had brought the two of you together

So that the two of you can spend the rest of your lives truly being happy with each other

So that you can finally forget about all the hurt and all the sorrow that you had been
through before

Because the good Lord came through and he answered every prayer that you had ever prayed for

You Can Get Back Up Again

My dear friend has been fighting cancer for the last six months
so please say a little prayer for her

You can get back up again

Written By Dean Masciarelli

December 1, 2009

We all face challenges
every single day

Yet some situations
are
worse then others

So try not to let the
trivial
things knock you down

And if life try’s
to knock you down

Remind yourself
that
you can get
back up again

I have learned that
from a friend of mine

Who's life is
hanging on a limb

And Her situation

Started over
five years ago

When she was told
that she had cancer

And it didn't look
very promising

But some how by
the grace of God

She lived

And then she was
struck
with cancer again

And this time it
was breast cancer

And the doctor told her
that in order for her to live

That she had to
have her breast removed

And she thought
about it for awhile

And she made
the decision

That her life was
more important

So she told the doctor

Take my breast off

Because if it means
that I can live longer

I will fight with
all my might
until the very end

Yet she hasn't
been doing well

Because of all
the
chemo treatments

But yet she still
takes the time
to remind me often

That life is
for the living

So try to live each and
every day to the fullest

Because none of us
are promised tomorrow

So do your best
to live for today

And live every moment
as if it were your last

I Clearly Embrace Inner Peace

I clearly embrace inner peace

Written By Dean Masciarelli

February 27, 2010 (9:17am)

I clearly embrace inner peace

With humility and grace

In this journey that I must face

And I will continue to express

My gratitude in life

Through gentle acts
of kindness

By loving others

With compassion

And understanding

And true tenderness

And hopefully some
day people
just might remember

My canvas

And all of my
unique colors

That are layered
underneath the surface

Its Been a Very Long Time

Its been a very long time

Written By Dean Masciarelli

November 6, 2009 (10:34pm)

Its been a
very long time

Since I have
been
with anyone

And instead
of dating

And falling in
love
with someone

All over again

This has been
the first time

In a very
long time

That I have
made
the decision

To remain
on my own

And if I never
date
anyone again

I will be just fine

Because at least
I can say

That I was truly
able to
love someone

Just once in
my lifetime

As much as they
were able
to love me in return

My Precious Little Flower (A Poem For My Granddaughter)

My precious little flower

Written By D. A . M .

June 13, 2010 (4:24pm)

My precious little flower

Your so young right now

But you will grow
as we all do

More then you know

And then some day

When I am old and gray

You will blossom
into
a full grown woman

And you will be

More beautiful

Then you have ever
imagined you could be

And then a young man
will come along

And he will ask
you for your hand

And he will get down
on one bended knee

And he will want
to marry you

Because he will be
so in love with you

And once you say I do

He will become your husband
and you will become his wife

And It wont be very long

Before you two start having
children of your own

And if I am no longer around
by then I pray to God that
he will always watch over you
because all I will ever want
for you is what is best for you

Because you are my grand daughter

Your Simply Amazing

Your simply amazing

Because there is something
that is extremely special
and truly different about you

And that’s why you
are so interesting

But I am sure people
will tell you that
just like I often do

Because you are so fascinating
and gentle and loving and caring

I just wish that there were
more
people that were like you

Because you are such
a beautiful human being

I'M Ready To Fall In Love Again

I’m ready to fall in love again

Written By Dean Masciarelli

August 13, 2010 (10:52am)

I am ready to fall in love again
like I did the very first time
when I was still young because
I’m so ready to feel like that again

I just hope and pray
when
that day finally comes

That you will also
be
my very best friend

Because that’s the best kind
of love that you can find

That way we can have something
that
is more fulfilling and ever lasting

Because I am ready to wake
up
every single morning smiling

Knowing that you will always be
around
to love me until the ends of time

I am ready to fall in love again
like I did the very first time
when I was still young because
I’m so ready to feel like that again

I Am Just a Simple Man

I am just a simple man

Written By Dean Masciarelli

September 30, 2010 (7:55pm)

I am just a simple man

That has been
living on his own

But a time will come

When the right
woman
will come along

Whether it is this
season
or the next one

Because I have enough faith
to know that the good
Lord will bring me someone

That I can truly count on
that will love me just as
much as
I can love them in return

But until that time comes

I will continue to wait
patiently
while I am on my own

The Lack of Love and Affection

The lack of love and affection

Written By Dean Masciarelli

November 10, 2009 (10:34am)

The lack of love and affection

Can truly bring you down

And it can cause you

To become emotionally
unstable and withdrawn

And even irritable at times

And when this happens

You tend to lose your bearings

And your sense of direction

And when it gets really bad

You quit doing the things
that you used to do all the time

And you eventually become

Isolated from everyone

Because you have reached
a point

When you no longer feel
like you belong

And you just quit caring

And this is when the good Lord
will intervene if you will let him

Because he can help you
turn your life around

So that your life
has more meaning

So that you can have
a true sense of belonging

Because the good Lord
is the only one who will
listen to all of your problems

And he will help you find
a solution to everything

So that you can begin to mend
and then feel brand new again

Because you can always
rely on him
to lift you up from your burdens

When you can no longer
carry them on your own

An Old Man Was Driving Down the Country Road ( Hilarious )

An old man was driving down the country road

Written By Dean Masciarelli

October 1, 2010 (11:55am)

An old man was driving
down the country road

And while he was driving

He noticed that there was a police
officer up ahead
that was sitting on the side of the road

And he knew that he was going
a little
over the recommended speed

And as he passed by
the officer
got right behind him

And then he followed
him
down the winding road

And that’s when the old man could see something
in his rear view mirror
and he noticed that the officers head light was dead

So he did what any good citizen would do and he flagged
the officer down
just to let him know that his head light had gone dead

And when the officer got out of his car the old man told the officer
with a big smile on his face that he is only going to give him a warning
this time around because every now and then everyone deserves a
good deed

And that’s when the officer smiled and went to the front
of his
car just to see if the old man was just trying to pull his leg

And when the officer returned he told the old man that this was
the first time
that he has ever had a citizen that had pulled him over instead

And they both laughed about it for a moment or two and
the officer said thank you and then they both got back
in there cars and they headed back down the country road

(This is a true story)

It just goes to show you that sometimes good deeds don't go unnoticed because they are appreciated.
