Its been a very long time

Its been a 
very long time

Since I have 
been 
with anyone

And instead 
of dating 

And falling in 
love 
with someone 

All over again 

This has been 
the first time 

In a very 
long time

That I have 
made 
the decision 

To remain 
on my own

And if I never 
date 
anyone again 

I will be just fine

Because at least 
I can say

That I was  truly 
able to 
love someone 

Just once in 
my lifetime

As much as they 
were able 
to love me in return

Dean... don't give up... these words are beautiful and written from the heart.. we all have felt this way sometime in our lives.. its a growth period every time this happens.. love is a grand emotion to feel so enjoy while u can and as long as u can.. and when its over .. be thankful u experienced it and move forward... grow.. this is going to my favorites tonight.. thankxxx Linda-Marie Poetess Extraordinaire' and Poetry Soup "Sweetheart" per HG Daniel and his Daffy Definitons .. check it out..
