Stronger Than You Know

Sometimes you feel like... An Outcast, Broken, Hurt, Hopeless, alone. You feel there is no fight left in you anymore You can't help feeling you are on your own You can't escape feeling like there is nothing left in you If you got hit, you couldn't get back up again... No matter how much you feel like this, it isn't true You are stronger than you know You are not alone, don't give up now Don't listen to those lies, don't go You are here for a reason You have a purpose in this life There's light passed this dark season You are still breathing and standing here Making it through another day A warrior fighting all your fears Do not be afraid of those who tear you down You are God's child you will wear a crown! "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." (2 Timothy 1:7 New Living Translation) No matter how hard things get through this trial You are not alone; it will all be worthwhile Keep smiling and don't give up hope Another day is a story, waiting to unfold Full of blank pages for your chapter to be told

I Wandered Lonely As a Duckling

"I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud"
~by William Wordsworth~

I wandered lonely as a Duckling
Swimming in a big and lovely pond,
Trying to fit in and make a bond,
A group of golden fluffy ducklings.
Beside the lake, beneath the blue sky,
Playing together, not being shy.

Graceful as the wildflowers that grow
Growing in beauty, pure as the snow,
Sweet as honeydew or summer rain.
Though grace and beauty, there's also pain
Beautiful roses that still have thorns
Or gentle lambs, now sheep with sharp horns

Staying together, not leaving their group
They all waddled in the most perfect line
Beside the crystal pond in the sunshine:
In unison, with their heads held up high,
They passed by one by one, and waved goodbye:

I often think, Am I really that strange?
Or was it them that decided to change?
Their eyes size me up, their judgment is plain
Causing my heart to recoil in pain
I cherish memories from long ago
The beautiful group, my heart longed to know

Fairies

Fairies dancing on their toes
On a gorgeous big red rose
They leap and twirl with delight
                                   Beneath the moons silvery light
Until the sun lifts up her head
And shines down on their flower bed

A Boy and His Guitar

He sits outside with his guitar
his dream to be a country star
With a strum of his hand
he plays a tune quite grand
For all to enjoy wherever they are

Mother

Mother your love is
                              Something that can't be replaced

                                     Your there when I fall
You help me get right back up

                                    You're the hand I hold
You comfort me in the cold

                                   You taught me God's love
You taught me how to love all

                                 Taught me right from wrong
Showed me the right path to take

                                     Showed me how to be
                                  Loving, caring, and patient

                                       You didn't have to
But you did, and I'm thankful

                                          Related or not
I'm glad to be your daughter

                                    You are my best friend

The Joker

'Why so serious?'
He would say as he started to walk my way.
He wears a purple over coat,
His face as white as a ghost.

Always has a smile beaming from ear to ear
Laughing like a maniac till his eyes are full of tears
Who is this mad man with hair of green
he is the creepiest thing I've ever seen

He always seems to have a trick up his sleeve
Along with many different weapons' like you wouldn't believe
Spreading uncontrollable chaos trying to put on a show
Committing crimes where ever he goes

How did this criminal mastermind come to be?
What drove him mad to reach the point of insanity?

Some say he fell into a tank of chemicals that drove him insane
Others say it was the loss of his wife and unborn child
Whatever it was it caused him a lot of pain

It seems like he was already unsteady
Close to that breaking point, slightly losing his mind already

Maybe he was never really okay
All it took was a little push over the edge
And we got the Joker we have today

The Little Blue Fairy

There was a little wind fairy who lived in a meadow near a small town, her name was Estella. Estella had beautiful blue hair like the sky, so her friends called her the little blue fairy. One evening Estella asked her mom and dad if she could go to see her grandparents. "Of course, but only if you're very careful." said her mom.

Estella was really happy as she packed a basket of sunflower seeds for grandma's flower garden. For grandpa she packed some fruit seeds for his orchard. When the basket was ready, she brushed her hair and hugged her mom and dad goodbye. "Don't forget to go through the town and around the fountain to get to grandma's and grandpa's house." her mom said. "Don't fly too high, and don't talk to strangers!" her dad said.

"Watch out for hawks!" Warned her mother in a nervous voice.

"Be careful, the town is dangerous!" added her father.

"Don't you worry, I will be fine! Can I stay for the pixie dust party this evening?" asked Estella. "Yes." replied her mom. "But don't stay out too late!" cautioned her dad.

Estella remembered all of her parents’ warnings, but only for a few moments. When she saw some lovely roses in the town garden, she forgot her promises to her mom and dad. She picked a few petals for grandma and watched the ladybugs fly for a while. Estella did not notice the two dark shadows flying above her from the dark side of the meadow.

Suddenly a hawk and his young son (who was scarcely old enough to fly), spotted her! The old hawk thought to himself that he would go and snatch her up for a quick snack, but if he eats her, she was not much more than a beak full and what would his son eat? So, he decided that he would follow her because maybe she would go back to her colony where there were a lot of fairies to feast on.

On her way to Grandma and grandpa's house, who lived near a pond in the small town, the little blue fairy realized that it was getting late, and she would be late for the pixie dust party. She hurried on to her grandparent's, not aware that the hawk in the meantime, had plans for his own party.

"Muhaha!" said the hawk to his son. "To get ready to go to the party, we will dress up like fairies so that we can sneak in!" The hawk tried his best to look like a fairy, but fairies are small and cute, and he was big and ugly! He decided to disguise himself as one of the wise fairies and pretend to be the very biggest and wisest that those fairies had ever laid eyes on.

He arrived at grandma's and grandpa's house and knocked as gentle as a fairy would. "Oh, another guest? Will you go and get the door please?" asked grandma. "OK dear!" replied grandpa as he flew to the door. He opened the door and did not recognize the big fairy before him. "Hello there." said grandpa to the guest. "Who are you? I don't remember seeing you around here before." The hawk replied, "I'm the Elder Fairy of the North, and this is my son. We have traveled a long way to attend your party and to meet you. Say hello to our host son." said the hawk in his most gentle and wisest sounding voice. "Hi." said the baby hawk rather nervously. He knew his father's wicked plan and did not like the thought of eating the nice fairies.

"Come in and refresh yourselves and we will all head out to the field. We are just about to start the party and watch Twinkles do the fireworks!" cried grandpa in an excited and happy voice. He was incredibly happy to have such an important guest come to their party.

As they were going to the field the hawk was a little worried that his disguise would not work around the animal fairies because they may recognize him and his son. He tried to stay away from them as much as he could.

As Twinkles was doing the fireworks, the hawk thought that the time to attack the fairies was drawing near and he began to lick his beak just thinking about his feast. Luckily two animal fairies who were going to sit next to Estella to watch the fireworks came near and noticed the evil gleam in his eyes and the way he was licking his beak! One of the animal fairies was named Elly, she loved elephants dearly, and was as strong as one too. The other fairy was Elly's little sister Tiger Lilly who can fly very fast, faster than the fastest tiger can run. The two animal fairies saw the hawk's claws and recognized that he was the hawk! Because they were animal fairies who believed that hawks and fairies should somehow get along with each other, they made a very quick emergency plan.

They flew to their friends the wind fairies, Estella and her friend Twinkles. Elly whispered in their ears, "That is not a wise fairy, that is a hawk and his son the baby hawk!" then she told them her quick plan. "Tiger Lilly will fly up to the hawk as fast as she can, and I will grab on to him, and then you Estella and Twinkles, will drop two sacks of your powerful pixie dust and transform them into awesome creatures!" They all agreed.

As the hawks rose up into the sky over the field to begin their attack on the fairies, Tiger Lilly flew up as fast as she could to the hawk holding on to Elly. Elly grabbed the big hawk so that Twinkles and Estella could release the sacks of pixie dust onto the two hawks. Suddenly the hawks were transformed into beautiful creatures! They had colorful feathers, and pretty beaks, and their hearts were filled with love and joy.

All the fairies at the party were amazed at what had just happened. They all began cheering. Grandpa told Estella to give them some fruit from his orchard, because he knew they would be hungry. They would never want to eat fairies again! Later when Estella got home, she told her parents all that had happened that evening, and what she and her friends had done, they were immensely proud of her and her friends. "Well, we don't have to worry about those two hawks anymore!" said her father. "I'm so proud of you!" said her mother "I'm so glad you're safe and home!"

From then on, the two hawks and the fairies lived in peace and were friends
