Brenda Chiri Poem
I feel your pain like it was mine
Having an ability to see your soul
If you hurt and can't speak
Sit here with me for I am fluent
in silence
And if your ghosts from the past
leave you sleepless then know that
I will be there to watch over you
taking the first shift so
Sleep will go undisturbed
Our tragedy in life is not death
but what we let die inside of us
Remember that you do not
only live once
we die once but we live everyday
we only need one friend
who will be there for
us always regardless
keeping our ghosts at bay
when we feel we can't go on
To allow us to rest when
we are too weak

Brenda Chiri Poem
I believe in twin souls,
not soulmate a twin has a
connection that can
never be broken....
Lasting through all
lifetimes
They just fit and
belong together....
You can't fight the
pull you two share....
You will know when your
twin soul is near, because
the souls cry out to each
other when they feel the
others energy....
As if a part of yourself
had been laying dormant
until they awaken each
other and instantly there is a
magnetic pull between the two
They will beckon to each other
compelling you to reach out.....
You hope the other can feel it too,
so you approach cautiously....
testing to see If they do
and you talk....
You will be amazed at the
things you two have In common....
Things that seemed unimportant
before now you see it's all part
of your connection you share....
There is always a chance
you two met too soon
and the other body has other
obligations and you cannot
fault them or perhaps
they were
not ready yet.....
You see it's ok at least
you have
just realized you have
one waiting
You have made it past
the worst part ......
You now know what has
always been missing......
Now you can stop spending
life looking for a soulmate
when that is
not what is greatest....
Twin souls belong together
and if this lifetime wasnt
right then in the next one....
But until that time comes to be.....
they are who you long for...
Who you dream of....
Who you long to hold you
tight within their embrace...
They are who you associate
true happiness with....
Your true mate.....
Your true twin.....
Your perfect fit in every lifetime.......
They are your true twin soul.....
YOUR ONE TRUE LOVE......
Another old one

Brenda Chiri Poem
The suns rays fade softly as
daylight melts into night
and mysterious moonbeams
glow even bigger
as the moonlight stretching across
the waters mirrored surface
enchanting ambient beams
dance upon the dark gray
water of the lake floating on
the night's whispering breeze
Touching on the waters
edge kissing the beach
silver beams caress the
warm sand not wishing to
disturb any hidden lovers
left in its darkness
When its time to float back on
the night's soft breeze to
continuing its dance with the
water as it begins to transform
back into the suns rays
warming the chilled water
dawn slowly steals back its turn
To become daylight again
nudging the shrinking moon
back to be lost in the light skies

Brenda Chiri Poem
Love is like a million stars
in an ocean of celestial beings
Shining brighter than all others
I am the moon whose evening pull
reaches out to you beckoning to
you in a seductive frequency no
other can hear as it was
meant for only you
Your brilliance begs me to pull you
into me, cradling you
It's with that aching aura that
leaves me astounded
The attraction is beyond any
reasoning.....
As if it's the perfect aria
that every opera craves and dreams
of being more beautiful
than any other performed
That is the love we two share....

Brenda Chiri Poem
Born to be a true warrior
never given the choice
Being muted as a child i
was not allowed a voice
Growing into this woman
with everyday being a fight
And as a real warrior never
questioned my very plight
Fearlessly into the battles
in one hand I held my sword
In my other was my shield
striding into monsters hoard
Face to face turned into a
head to head vilolent clash
As their razor sharp claws
reached out trying to slash
Dodging to my right then
my left I would then sway
With heavy swings from
my weapon I would slay
Fate determined my life to
living a warriors crusade
All alone in this hard world
Me, my shield and my blade

Brenda Chiri Poem
You don’t know me…
You don’t know my past…
If you did would you
judge me for my pain so vast?
Did you hear about
that one baby girl?
No one was there
to save her faded world
The one who was forced
to do bad things
A child to never dream
of queens and kings
Did you know her mother
denied any blame
Could you ever understand
any of her shame….
Did you know he’d come
visit her every week
And that she wasn’t
ever allowed to speak…
Did you know he’d do that
until she turned nine
Did you know it messed up
her young mind?
Could you feel her
loneliness & the cold
Did you know at nine
she felt so old
You don’t know me!
You don’t know my past..
if you did would you
have taken time to ask
Did you know at thirteen,
two men had their way
She couldn’t tell, they’d say it
was she who wanted to play
Did you know she was lost
and seen no reason
All her teenage years,
men she spent pleasing
Did you know she had
no self respect
Growing harder, her intent
was to protect
Always trying to defend
herself against the lies
Would you believe at night
one could hear her cries
Did you know all the drama
seemed to continue
Did you know acts of kindness
was far and few
Do you know how much in life
she had to endure
Did you know she lacked
any sense of secure
Did you know how much
she ached with pain
Did you know that she
could never complain
Did you know how life
was an exhausting blur
But you should never pity
or feel sorry for her
You don’t know me
You don’t know my past
If you did would you
think me to fast
Did you know she wasn’t bitter
towards all man kind
Or that it was her smile
she hid her tears behind
Could you imagine she
grew to be very strong
How she knew best
what was right and wrong
Do you know she took
that grief and pain
Kept inside herself so she herself
so she could maintain
You know she turned
it into her strength
Do you know she’d help
others going to any length
It’s said she takes little
things way to far
Yet her purpose “help others
reach for their star”
Saying she’s a b****
and is way too hard
But their opinions, she
gives them no regard
She became a great fighter
for those she sees,
living a life crying out
for help to be free
Giving a love she
was never shown
Would you still judge her
if her past you’d known
You don’t know me
You don’t know my past
If you did would you
free me from my cage of glass

Brenda Chiri Poem
Everyone wants to be the sun
All I need is that one person
who wants to be the ambient glow
to my twinkling starlight so
in the darkest of nights we can
shine together stealing the
night skies back with our brilliance

Brenda Chiri Poem
I travel this road all alone
A journey unlike any other
Setting my pace and tone
Starlight becomes my lover
Need to travel my own voyage
Before I can actually move on
Stop letting life take me hostage
Be ok with myself, number one
Life has many ups and downs
Only I can make this life ok
I can not let myself drown
But I got to take it day by day
Until my journey is finally over
I just got to keep the light insight
Keeping my life in some order
Because I think I'm worth the fight

Brenda Chiri Poem
Taken this worn path ,he'd
taken so many times before
To his one and only true love,
he will always adore
His destination marked Riekers,
sprinkled with fresh snow
After five years even if blind,
he'd know where to go
Looking at the marble stone,
her flowers still in his hand
Made his chest ache with
a heaviness, he couldn't stand
His eyes teared up,then the
tears streamed down his face
This is where his demons lived,
this was the place
Today was not for them, he had
something to say
"Baby I'm back again!
Do you remember what's today?"
"It's when you gave to me a gift,
one the greatest of all!"
"Also when you left me,
after telling me to stand tall"
"Leaving me but not alone,
you left with me one other life!"
"Our baby girl turned five today!
But still I crave my wife!"
"Each day that passes,
she reminds me more of you!"
"Her eyes and hair, down to her
dimpled smile too!"
"I want to thank you for all the joy you
you brought me!"
"Plus our baby girl, I still bounce
upon my knee!"
He thought it would get easier,
through the many years
He placed her flowers down,
unable to hold back the tears
"Goodnight my love! I'll be back,
but now I must go!"
A cold wind seemed to kiss his cheek,
as it began to blow
It felt as if she caressed his face,
to say "I Love You"
Smiling still in tears,
he whispered
"Forever I Do Too!"

Brenda Chiri Poem
Blackened clouds roll in
While overtaking the skies
Feeling the anger in the air
Growls takeover the sighs
Ominous feelings of disaster
Now pending on the horizon
Atmosphere reeks bitterness
A fury there's no comparison
Darkness is cut with flashes
Rumbling fury fills ones ears
The storm rages on no mercy
Soon the clouds release tears
The storms undeniable wrath
Takes it's toll upon the earth
A battle that ensues unending
Cleansing the land with rebirth
