Rebirth

Blackened clouds roll in While overtaking the skies Feeling the anger in the air Growls takeover the sighs Ominous feelings of disaster Now pending on the horizon Atmosphere reeks bitterness A fury there's no comparison Darkness is cut with flashes Rumbling fury fills ones ears The storm rages on no mercy Soon the clouds release tears The storms undeniable wrath Takes it's toll upon the earth A battle that ensues unending Cleansing the land with rebirth

I must apologise Poetess...I thought I had already commented on this one. Was a bit wary when commencing reading (imagined I had caught you at a dark time perhaps) -- loved the building tension throughout though -- fantastic cressendo -- great finale!!! Very nice piece of poetry -- enjoyed!! With fondest wishes. :) john

My dear sissy, Nature's birth or rebirth is always a tumultuous process and your awe-inspiring poem captures the brawling forces beautifully. Your poem did seem to have a symbolic feeling of finality to it which I could easily interpret as a more apocalyptic event.. in that case we better scurry up into the tree house - it's apocalypse proof! Lol! Try saying that 3 times fast! haha! But seriously, Dragon Fire, this is such a powerful and artistic piece. Love ya, crazy sis. Your, a little saner today than yesterday, sissy, Illum <3

Ahhh dear sissy! You have missed horribly! The unicorns are on a strike I believe since you and bro bro have not been around! They complain that it is not as fun around the treehouse with only me there! But bro bro has been found! Thank you my dear sane (almost) sister! Love Dragon fire

It shall be a dark day indeed!! For me it seemed symbolic of the last great storms the earth may see. Good description, Brenda.
