The Phoenix

The days are gone
And the place is dry
Nothin good was done
There's even no fly

Dreams were totally shattered
And silence filled the place
All wishes were scattered
Around the fool's face

They came in a sheep's mask
Pretending to be helpful
They only came to complete a task
And left no soul restful

Unfortunately they weren't aware of a living soul
It died and lived again, making their lives a foul

Them, Drug Addicts

It's not hunger for food
And it makes one a fool
It's really nothing good
More like leaving a toddler in a pool

All victims does panic
But they're in as if they get a commission
The actions are so ironic
Leaving one amazed, on the line of division

They do monologues
You really would swear they are mad
If you hear them doing dialogues
The topics don't match the news, it's so sad

They say they steal for a living
Unfortunately the earth so soon is what they end up leaving

Pillar of Strength

It was tougher along the way
More than climbing up a slippery hill
I almost threw in the towel anyway
But I knew I had to cling to my will

Inner scars are what I sustained
With a broken soul in a pain
Positivity was maintained
I had to focus on the main

Through the rough patch you were present
And never even dared to dismiss
Therefore I offer the present
For all you have done I will miss

Thanks for not being mean
All I said is what I mean

Tear Drops

I stood at the valley
Positioned myself in akimbo
I stood there in valour
Man, I was overwrought

You are the reason why I went there
All your deeds drove me to the dell
It wasn't easy but I had to dare
Maybe that's the reason why people don't wanna go to hell

What you meant when you said you need space?
What is it that's hard to be said to my face?
I thought with me you were in a good place,
Like you said I rule the palace.

Told me you the one
 but what happened now?
Maybe I didn't understand which "one"
 but then how?

You had changed
When I show up you no longer smile
You are so blur-faced
I could see you from a mile

I will give you the space you need
You will see me no more
That will be til we meet again
I won't bother you anymore

My heart pumps toxic blood
Flowing so fast with power like flood
I know you won't mourn my death
I am sorry I am leaving the earth.

Cardiodepressed

My mind accepted defeat
When I stepped in the love game.
And my heart would skip a beat
Whenever I heard your name.

Everything was colorful,
Even black seemed so bright.
How couldn't it'd been wonderful?
I thought everything was right.

'til you walked out to sort something
Right in the middle of the game.
Sorting out something led to another thing,
Another thing of which I fail to name.

I came your way but you pushed me away.
I thought you weren't well I had to stay,
To a point that I began to pray.
't wasn't easy I must really say.

And because of the heat
It's my heart that accepted defeat.

Poverty

It taught me not to rely on anyone
To stand up and sweat for my own benefit
To decide by mind not by heart
It shaped my vision and caused transition

Gone to bed with hunger but still hoped for the best
I'd sometimes think it's a curse
How things took place wasn't fascinating
And when people looked at me they saw nothing

I sometimes lost friends because I had nothing
Whenever I told my story they'd say I'm looking for attention
Whenever I'd seek for help they'd say they're busy
But that never stopped me from going

Family would distance their selves
Telling me to sort out myself
How was I going to do that?
They didn't wanna know

The Nightmare

I was walking down the pavement
I seemed to be going through a rough patch
I had to do some house payment
But it seemed complicated I had to start from scratch
The payment doing was in my mind
When I saw a young man in my yard
He seemed low, otherwise he was kind
His attire made him seem like a security guard
I watched him until he got close
The walk seemed familiar though
And his face didn't make sense
You couldn't exactly tell his moods or emotions
He took out a sharp knife and stabbed me several times
I laid down there helpless and saw you heading our way
And the most painful thing was that I saw you shaking hands with him

Loyalty's Aftermath

It's a dream I never had
A story I never read
A choice I never made
And a song I never sang

It came to existence when we met
Leaving me with no doubt about it
With it I didn't feel upset
I knew I had to live with it

Time went by and we were fine
We did everything we thought was right
That's when I told myself you were mine
I never thought we would have a fight

I don't know what happened but you changed
Forcing me to excuse you while you take calls
I've asked so many times but you left me hanged
I was worried more when I caught you talking to the walls

In us you totally gave up
Blaming me for every single mistake
Telling me to shut up
That you feel like throwing me in the lake

You told me I am disgusting
That you were better off without me
I knew there was someone you were seeing
Someone two times better than me

I was a fool
All you did was to pretend
Acting like everything was cool
I bet that was never what you intend

Enemy's Vision

He looks at me and see nothing
It's like my life is in his hands
He really doesn't believe I can be something
All he sees is just a dirty girl who grew up in the village and farms

Nothing good suits me in his eyes
Am sure he wish he can control me
He saw me holding a pen and a book
He then laughed so loud with impressions

I could tell he had something in mind
He held still and stared at me for a while
Probably he had questions in his mind
Who do you think you are

He judges from a distance
He just see a little good for nothing village girl
