Echoes of Time

Who made?
The blooming flowers!
The trumpeting elephants!
The magnificent, endless sky!
The being turning against His Word

Pay attention
To the Horn of time
A stone flew out of the night
And I captured...did you?
Landed on the rooftop,
Rattled down like machine-gun fire
Symbolizing...

And behold
I saw lambs
Following a mother goat,
I heard the cat roaring
And the lion purring
Only a few kept their identity

A few took the thorny way
The majority misled
By the pretending Wild Beast
Edging towards flame
Where will one be?
For the Echoes Of Time Are Audible

Rays of Our Motherland

Among all Nations
North, East, West,
Stretching South
All over the world
Appear the rays
Of the most magnificent
Continent above others
The most adorable and admirable
Of all Motherlands,
The Landmark of Africa

Contented with bright,
Intelligent faces
Like gas particles
Moving into the air
Their fame is spread
And advancement moving their side,
Accompanied by favorable commends
The Continent of Black Majority
Our own Motherland in the Universe

Unlike some other...
Heading towards their extremes
Mama Africa stands unique
Enhancing tomorrow's affluence
At a velocity like none other
Leading the burden bearers
Of tomorrow the positive direction
Distinguishing herself from others

Mama Africa stands above all others
Commemorate her success,
And probably yet to come
On a day somewhere
In the month of May...
Or is it on the 25th?
...food for thought!

Live long Black Majority
And let the rays
Of our Motherland
Continue reflecting on us
Viva Black continent!

Starting Today

(Moses Gava Featuring Kudakwashe Victor Shoko)

Neither did it start yesterday
Nor yesteryear
A scroll further backward
Deep into the historical era
I could see him crawling
During those years of polling

They were born egoistical
I wish I were not
Philanthropic, I would have preferred
To see them holding my trifles
At them I would fire a rifle
Only that my fingers couldn't shoot to kill

With strong aversion
I behold them thriving
Because I'm striving
At them I'm diving
Only to interpose
To forslow them Of course

If jealousy were a disease
Surely I would be among the ill
Opting to get well soon
And so, Starting Today
I will loathe no more
I will cheer evermore

Economically and Socially
I am ailing
Starting Today
I will retreat into writing
My treasure, My company
Lies in that realm

It's my world,
I create what I want
This world
Is an awfully awful place
I'll shrink from it
And venture into were I find solace

Starting Today
I'll excrete sadness and sorrow
I'll take gulps of happiness,
Today not tomorrow
Things cannot go in your favor always,
Let that sink in

You can't create happiness in someone's world
You'll be altering its design,
Create your own world
Happiness or solace,
You'll put what you want
Hell or paradise of your making,
How is that?

The orator is Starting Today
When is your today?
Today is today, Start Today
Starting Today, let's all Start Today
You know what you want, get it Today

Weeps of the Underprivileged

My heart stops pumping
As though it suffered a puncture
I feel the earth quaking
Resulting from neighing sounds,
Sobbing voices completing
The backup

Tracing the tracks of the choir,
An upsetting scene disables my sight
Suddenly I'm drowning
in soapy-sour waters of the poor
Pouring from their eyes
Turning my smile's up side down

Then I looked upon their wet faces,
It was a challenging thing
To perceive the cracked,
Dry lips signalizing hunger,
Their unwrapped bodies
Longing for clothing, with nowhere to go

I felt myself not solution enough,
But as I thought of other pieces,
I saw the puzzle completed
Together we bounced,
And simultaneously we laughed
It was time to weep no more

It was time to enjoy evermore
I saw no more families,
But I perceived one big family
For as though a compound,
We were chemically combined
Forming one solid rock

Estopping emotions of the underprivileged

A Dream To Remember

The only pair
Ever to live
High above the tallest building
On planet earth,
The best prone to succeed
And live for ages
According to the Creator's will

To the left
Was the ever shining left shoe
Shiny as the sun that has just escaped
From dusk to dawn
The left shoe that had a skin
That would remain immaculate
Even when dipped in mud

It was the most remarkable,
Adorable left shoe ever to exist
High above in the stars,
High above in the alien world
A world class label stuck unto it
A label by the name NELIA,
TANYARADZWA KUYERI

Yes! The shoe was never complete
Yes! It needed another identical one
To complete the duo
Only one among all other right shoes
Could compact to the left,
NELIA tagged shoe to accomplish
The desired twosome

It was the right shoe
That originated from the foxes
Labeled the foxson's27th
That could make NELIA shine,
Shine to match the extent
That she aimed for
And was the origin of patience

Abruptly, the pair were torn apart
The left to the left,
And so was the right to the right
But still the right signaled to the left
Even from a distance, the right shoe
Never lost its patience
And neither lost its hope

Still waiting patiently
For yet another dark to fall
To resume the adventure
Up above in the stars,
Up above in the slumberland
And currently hold on to that one
A dream to remember...

My Life, My Throe

I am grateful
I was born
Flung in doleful
Ferocious land

Born to face ignominy,
To be deceited
By licentious village boys
Who are only born to ice

I was born a girl
I wish I were not
With abhor
I look myself

Born in threat
Meant to struggle
Their voices mumble
And i'm left idle

My feelings are rose
I crumble
Of course i'm scorned
I stumble

I bled, I lost my dignity
My blood is blemished
I'm violent, up to infinity
No longer calm, I'm into crime

Because I'm female
I was given life.
I was given life,
And I was given pain

Hell hath no fury
Like a woman scorned
Because she was born in pain,
She was born in struggle

When I'M Gone

For the first time
My foes will commend me
But neither will I be surprised
Nor have knowledge

Neither will I be shocked
Nor feel loved
Receiving flowers from my rivals
For I will be gone for good

I will try to blink,
Move my lips to menace
My enemies with an abrupt return,
But my efforts shall be in vain

I will try to rise,
Try to give a kiss to my rose,
Try to give my last words to loved ones
But voice shall be muted

Beyond my sight,
A thunderstorm of tears,
I shall try to turn back,
Only to find my body statued

They shall weep for loosing someone
Whom they loved so much that...
They would give an arm for
Unfortunately, that someone will be deaf

When I'm gone just carry on
Don't mourn, rejoice every time
You'll hear the sound of my voice,
Just know that;

I'll be looking down at you
Smiling,
Look at smiling for the days
We enjoyed on earth with Eminem

Children will see mommy crying
Asking why?why?
Why is mommy crying?
Saying Mozy don't leave

No Mozy,
Daddy just stop it!
But I won't be trying to harm or hurt you,
I will be trying to obey Him

So here are my last words
Before I'm gone for good
I...I...I...
I...think I've to go NOW!

This Isn'T Goodbye

Can't believe its over,
That you're drowning
Weren't we meant to be?
I should have sensed the jeopardy
Observed the alarms
Right there in front of my sight

Wait a minute!
Can't we start it over?
Let me try to utilize
One more chance
Maybe tomorrow
You'll say that you're mine
Only then will you realize
I have changed

I will show you
I'm now in it for life
I hope I will see you
Someday
Together in Spirit
I was a fool of myself
To let the wind blow you
Into the atmosphere
And never landed

I try to call
You say you have so much to do
You want to spend
The rest of life in gravel
Entombed
I tell you
There is so much
I want to say
I want to spend my life
Deep in earth, too...
With you
Only not to demolish our vow

This Isn't Goodbye
Seeing you waving at me
An optical illusion?
We had joy and fun
Then, untimely
I woke by myself
Maybe it is time
I admit you are gone for good!
Gone for good?

Night Scare

Just as I dozed Off
It was that creature
Again!
Shook me awake
By the echoing,
Growling of its fierce voice

Onto my feet, I was
Rocketed towards that edifice
I dashed in, locked all the portals
Giving access to the building
I took a deep breath
Thinking I had escaped it

I down-lifted myself
To the rooms downstairs
Trod backwards,
I got inside room 16
And locked myself up,
Felt relieved for a second

The room was then illuminated
By the red-searching lasers
I tried to view them closer,
I was pierced by two-edged
Sword-like objects, I heard the voice...
'Again?'

A coffin was deposited in front
I was desperate,
I got inside myself
I heard an alarm ringing
A wavy view of the ceiling,
And shower came to sight

I was in the tub
Warmth of water had taken me
To a place no one else knows
The sun had risen,
It was morning
And it was time to leave for school

A Dream To Pursue

The Earth
Our Globe
Enclosed resemblance
Of its contents

The birth of he
Was the birth of divergency
They were born,
I was programed

Adhered to a certain goal
Complexities were designed
malware spikes,
To intervene

I will dive,I will thrive
Till I rise
For my prize
In disguise

I shall be stuck
On that track
But covered shall be
The distance on one place

He shall be buried
'With breath a merit'
And still, I rise
With a dream to pursue

I will be fine
Despite the rain
Tearing my paperwork
Enhancing my pain

The more I will gain
They will fall into drains
Their Efforts in vain
In anguish in reign

Lightning will strike
But he will proceed
Never was he violated
For he was designed to succeed

I will pass, I will pursue
And all will call me
Undisputed
For my ability is unlimited
