Wrongdoings Poems | Examples

Misty Are Shadows

We grip hands in shadows
Winds brushing your tossed hair ,
Night dusting dew on our eyes
And silhouette of waves
Fade soft as your salt tears
Wash me from wrongdoings.

Marks of a survivor

Each scar has a name, etched into my skin—
White lines barely visible on my pale arms.
There’s one for every heartbreak I ever got,
One for each battle I silently fought,
One for all the wrongdoings I had,
For every time my thoughts turned bad.

Each scar holds a memory, a ghost from the past,
Every cut done silently, hidden away after every tragedy.

The lines on my arms fade each day,
But the memories behind them refuse to go away.
Maybe these scars are signs of a warrior,
Signs of strength and resilience,
Marks of my unwavering diligence.

I don’t want the scars to fade—
Maybe I’ll fade with them,
The signs of power,
The signs of a survivor
Slipping quietly away.
My scars are a part of me;
Without them, who will I be?
Just someone who went through hardship
With nothing left to show for it.

A Black Hole

A dark void, my soul completely destroyed
Everything wrong hit me, like an asteroid

The wrongdoings I’ve done, the pain I've faced
The tears I’ve shed, and the sick aftertaste

I’m often misunderstood, called “Emo” and “sad”
But they don’t see my thoughts, and they should be glad

There’s more to see, but it’s a lot for me
Everyone around me is strong, like a tree

But I am only a wilted flower,
As everyone looks down, often towers

I weep in silence, my hopes and dreams crushed
And so I often feel my voice is hushed

I seem to blend in with the rest of the tree’s
And so I collapse, and I’m finally free.

Premium MemberI Am Thankful For

I'm so thankful for each day when I awake to see the rising sun
Thanks to those who've forgiven me for wrongdoings that I've done
Also, I'm grateful for my three lovely daughters and my loving wife.
And those souls who gave me freedom often paying with their life.

I'm thankful that I had a career that gave me financial security
That helped put a roof over my head and provided for my family
And thankful for my many good friends who have watched my back
Who have supported me in my daily life and online from attack.

I'm thankful too for my sight to be able to see beauty all around
And for my hearing that enables me to hear the sweetest sound
Also, I'm thankful too that I found the ability for poetry to write
I've had a few lows over the years, but thankful I've done all right.

BLACKMAILER

You make me happy.
You are full of life.
You represent everything I need.
Please, call me mine.

These are my sweet, weak but effective lines to get through your walls;
they work like magic, always.

My first week with you will be soothing;
I'll take you to a paradise of ecstasy,
and you'll forget your worries.

Wait, give me a little time,
and I'll commit my usual wrongdoings,
projecting myself as the victim,
where you'll pay dearly for my insensitivity and lust.

Don't forget, you're just an option in my dealings.

You will never grow tired of the world I've created with you,
but I can revisit my dirt;
I'll hurt you and drag you through the mud.

I won't give you access to my temple;
you don't need to complain,
for I'll be accountable only when I'm with you.

I'm comfortable with the wrong impression;
above all, I'm not meant to be kept, due to my nature.

The River

Meet me at the River of Hope,
where everything is achievable
simply by trusting in powers above.

Meet me at the Entrance of Forgiveness,
where we can let go of our wrongdoings
and embrace the bright side of our companionship.

Meet me at the River of Memory,
where we can reminisce about moments shared
and see for ourselves that our life has been beautiful with us.

If we cannot meet at any of these rivers,
at least meet me at the midpoint where our paths cross.

Seconds Count

To believe in love is to believe in faith.
Love is a feeling that no words could ever say, and
Faith is believing in what is unseen.
Both have their greatest strength in conquering.
These forces are bound by our own chains,
awaiting release from their stagnant domain.
The answers we search for have been with us all along,
Guided by our hearts to correct our wrongs.
If we listen, everything becomes more clear,
and the love inside will rid us of our fears.
Love will carry us through the most tragic of storms,
And faith is the certainty of landing in trusting arms.
Love is what we need to survive,
And the reason we are all alive.
The road that most have traveled,
Is just evil plots and lives unraveled.
Our lives pass by within a chime,
making right our wrongdoings is running out of time.
Making the seconds count, for those who partake,
Leaves lasting memories from the ones we make.

Contentment over despair

They hide their maliciousness and evil intentions behind masks of righteousness and perfection.
The moment you feel you have an ally, it turns around and soon feels like the whole world is against you.
What can be done? We are but measly, powerless beings in the grand scheme of things
Stranded in an unjust world eager to maintain its unfairness under the guise of preserving tradition.
A world where elders abuse authority and respect and manipulate religion and culture to cover up their misgivings and wrongdoings.
The growing generation is caught in the crossfires between two realities;
A world of change and growth and a world of tradition.
Is tradition more important than a fulfilled and content life?
These thoughts run through my mind as I fall victim to yet another manipulation of culture
Ideologies are misconstrued as pride and disrespect for authority.
A promise is made with a tear-stained face
I choose a fulfilled life over a life of despair
The manipulation ends with me.

Viewpoint

The scripture says,"
They will hate you because
you are not like them"
Someone can think about
different colours or tribes
While it is not like that.
If you are a white ( or black, yellow, brown,  ) preacher
Speaking the truth about wrongdoers
Many people will hate you
for speaking the truth.
Example: there is no
heaven for sinners.
Which is truth,
But many people who
still in wrongdoings
will take it as a provocation
While you try to help them
 to quit wrong things.
For doing that ,
Know that you love majority  folks
more than how they love you.

Imagine a white preacher standing to condemn racism where racists dominated.
Only God will help him" her" to come out alive
In that precarious  zone.
Think about a black preacher standing to condemn tribalism where tribalism people dominated.
Only God will help him" her"  to come out alive
In that hazardous neighborhood.
Jesus Christ was true in front of pharisees
and scribes but they decided to detest
Him because of their  secret agendas.
It is like a true christian preaching some
 people of other beliefs.

Father To Daughter

When I saw you for the first time,
You became all of mine.
You were this tiny little ball,
Looking like a doll.

You opened a big bag of dreams,
Which were coming true by all means.
My eyes had better words,
Than the world had ever heard.

You were a small box of joy,
Now, I had a life to enjoy.
Tears fell as I looked at you,
It was the most enchanting view.

You were my forgiveness,
For all my evilness.
All my wrongdoings faded away,
As soon as you made your way.

You made me fall in love,
Again and again and forever.
You came as a blessing from above,
As the prettiest person ever.

Back To School

I remember,
Waking up by the alarm clock,
Hearing the sound of the door's knock,
To get up and gather courage,
Of shattering my comfortable cage.

I remember,
Reaching the school's gate at seven,
Still remembering my home like heaven,
In a dismal and disappointed state of mind,
Stability and happiness difficult to find.

I remember,
School teachers finding out students,
As they had to vent
The frustration of their lives
On innocent children, who were naive.

I remember,
Staying quiet the entire day,
As words could never find a way.
Crying out loudly in my heart
Looking at the destruction of my effort.

I remember,
Being bullied by my classmates,
Who hold a large space of hate,
In my heart which always learned to love
But, could never be at peace like a dove.

I remember,
Being laughed at by silly beings,
Not able to confront them for their wrongdoings,
Breaking and shattering a million times,
Still not forgetting to put a smile.

I remember,
Returning home like a warrior,
But, the one who had lost all his conquests.
Only if life would have been fairer
And God would have heeded to my requests.

I remember... everything.

Injustice

Injustice, corrupted, barbaric laws
Created and put into place for coloured men
A policy that is crocked and bent from ancient times
Policies and Procedures in place to justify the wrongdoings of privileged men
Another form of captivity to eradicate and eliminate a human race
There’s no such justice for coloured men
Laws were created only for the privileged men
Their actions no matter how barbaric or cruel there are,
Are justified by ancient and new-age laws
There is no justice for the coloured man
Every law was written to aid, justify and support privileged men
Thank the Creator for Heavenly laws that outweigh all Earthly laws
Rules and regulations designed and put into place
For all earthly gods to abide by and follow
If Yah says, Yes no man can say, No
For his report and word accomplishes what it’s meant to do
Earthly laws were not created for the coloured man
But were put into place to justify and aid privileged men
The only justice that aids and supports
A coloured race is Godly laws that are fair and just
Thank you, Father, for interceding for all coloured people
In these violent and horrific times.

Premium MemberA Really Good Person

For to know if one is, in reality, a good person or not,

We should, not only, inquire if he has ever committed crimes,

But also,

If he had ever wished to commit any wrongdoings!
