I Am Thankful For - Rhyme In 8-12 Lines Poetry Contest - Sponsored By Tania Kitchin.

Written 30th November 2024.

I'm so thankful for each day when I awake to see the rising sun Thanks to those who've forgiven me for wrongdoings that I've done Also, I'm grateful for my three lovely daughters and my loving wife. And those souls who gave me freedom often paying with their life. I'm thankful that I had a career that gave me financial security That helped put a roof over my head and provided for my family And thankful for my many good friends who have watched my back Who have supported me in my daily life and online from attack. I'm thankful too for my sight to be able to see beauty all around And for my hearing that enables me to hear the sweetest sound Also, I'm thankful too that I found the ability for poetry to write I've had a few lows over the years, but thankful I've done all right.
