On top of wings in morning air
the pelican carries my gentle song
of oceans salty pulse we share
along the shore my carefree steps belong
to sooth my soul as waves collide
and chase the morning stars of night away
with talk of jumping little fish beside
it’s days like this that made me want to stay
so swift the flight of thought across my brow
I still my pace to gather wisdoms speak
Least not I miss what’s said to me right now
My journey flows like waves to shore does seek
So blue this sky, so wide this sea
Against the far-off grey lines leading edge
Just let a little bit of heaven cling to me
I seek my highest steps upon its steady ledge

For An Eternity
If it should prevail,
that you might be born today?
May the spirit of your flesh,
Float on the wings of a leaf in the wind
In the aura of the breeze, the wind
Shall it be felt like a promise to yesterday's wisdom?
Flowing with the essence of a life yet to be lived,
Find harmony with the tremendous beauty of what lies ahead
To a life well deserved.
Shall it be you to be born today?
May the aura of life scent be upon you for an eternity!
we are but silt
in a river called time
heading toward a worm-hole
draining a past toward a future
trying to make sense of the sense of it all

Lord,
Unlock the door to truths unknown
Fling open wisdom's gates
For aspirations to deem our own
In you our fortune waits.
Down a path of endless scope
Lead us as you've willed
From flames of love igniting hope
By Grace, our hearts are filled.
If I can not astonish you with all my wisdoms;
I can always flabbergast and,
In absolute certainty, astound you
With such collection of stupidities,
Said in such wondrous zest
And absolutely no spark of talent,
That God above, first - cringe
And then – erupt in laughter.

A word to the wise
Do not get stuck on yourself
You are not that wise
Wisdoms Plight
You should always be a good sport,
Is a phrase we often use
But of course to prove you are one
I'm afraid you have to lose
Wisdoms from Flowers
People are like flowers.
Even the weediest of plants enjoys living.
Each one has its unique beauty…and purpose.
Whether thriving in a cottage garden,
Or living restrained in a formal knot garden,
Flowers flourish when given loving care.
So it is with people.
Love and care is the key to winning in life.
There are so many diversities among us.
Some seem "weedy" and unrefined.
Some seem "snooty" and uncaring.
Some seemingly thrive amid affluence.
Some judge without seeing the heart.
Some struggle in the midst of hatred.
Anger, backbiting, gossip, lies, and jealousies destroy –
Causing souls to wither like the wilting of a thirsty plant.
But in the arms of love,
Individual uniqueness thrives.
And the world becomes a better place.
Mankind prospers beautifully with tolerance.
Diversity, inside and out, grows.
Prizewinning blooms are cultivated.
Hardiness and fitness show,
When there is love in the garden.
Beauty surrounds and joy abounds.
And the gardener, knowing, glows.

The crashing waves ripped.
One surfboard flipped, disappeared –
And strength swam ashore.
Soldiers seek God’s face
Amid blasting, fire, and death.
A few find solace.
Women birth children.
Fathers become their leaders -
When love has no girth.
Tsunamis may drown,
Earthquakes may scatter earth around.
Willingly, God helps
The distant planet
Travels, showing its dark face –
Man shall see its light.
Signs and seasons pass.
Life lessons inflict sore pain.
But God can uplift.
Daybreak welcomes dawn.
The sun delivers brightness.
Wisdom is thankful.
Before the sunrise,
A rooster crows in darkness.
Singing bragging rights.
Traveling with speed,
Interstate traffic flies by.
Some folks watch and pray.
Hanging on to life,
Two, in sickness and in health,
Love nature’s great gifts.
Time passed slowly
Once upon a youthful time,
But speeds up with age.
Fool-heart was happy
When it heard many crickets –
Ringing in its head.
Euphoria knows.
A wonderful thing…the mind –
Can be a compass.
God gives His riches.
Open eyes perceive great gifts –
Beauty everywhere.
