Imagine sitting down and eating
chocolate bars with Glenn Hughes
Nothing could be sweeter
than this grand event
Think of all the bittersweet dialog
talking about lyrics for upcoming songs
and reflecting on his 50 years of music
Would there be nuts in your chocolate
and maybe dip them in a bit of honey
One can only dream of such circumstances
maybe a contest in order to make it come true
Anyway, I’m on my way to Wawa
to get chocolate bars
while my radio
is tuned to Glenn Hughes

She walked with God
and he walked alone
When they would meet
the relationship
became the three of them
But he would never accept
the power of the supreme
And so the battle began
of the star-crossed lovers
accompanied by the Man
"I believe in cave men"
he would say
as she would scream in horror
"We agreed our daughter would learn creationism"
she would plead
as he would look stupified
The bold and troublesome exchanges
never stopped
and it wouldn't be long that their relationship
would begin to topple over
And so the two of them, the woman and God
would leave the man to his own devices
and he would have nothing left but his tears
and confusion
But she would remain happy
as whereever she went
'He' was with her
As for the man
he has a black cat named Stella
and a Wawa supreme pizza everynight

If you die at work
An email will be sent
If they know you
You are referred to as beloved
I too want to beloved
I wonder, who do I have to know to be beloved?
I too want a work e-mail celebrating my life!
We are never e-mailed if an employee quits or is fired
I used to think that the end of a relationship was not like a death
It did not mean the person was dead – there was still a chance
To see that person – maybe – one day in the future
Just like an Adele breakup song – bittersweet – but very very possible
But it is like a death – just like someone quitting or being fired
Where is the e-mail?
Once in a great while, I will see an ex-employee at a Burger-Fi or a Wawa
And I will tell them -- they are beloved.

To celebrate a fiftieth anniversary,
a convenience store is dispensing coffee.
The best thing about it is that it’s free.
It’s hot, fresh, and with a flavor variety.
Twelve ounce small cups are available all day.
I got mine this morning right away.
It was just what I needed to get going today.
You have to live in a Mid-Atlantic state
to take advantage of this offer that is great.
Of all the different convenience stores in America,
the one with this terrific offer is called “Wawa”.

Your stores are conveniently located wherever I’m on my way.
Not only that, you are open twenty-four hours a day.
I can always buy your gasoline at a moderate price.
Breakfast items and deli sandwiches look fresh and nice.
An early morning commute can usually be a pain.
I can stop and get a cup of coffee at any store in the chain.
That always makes the trip a lot easier for me.
Two words that describe your operations are “convenience” and “efficiency”.
All your outlets are fine examples of quality.
The cleanliness of the stores and friendliness of employees does impress.
In the world of business, I wish you a lot of success.

I have a Chi Wawa
not much bigger then a cat
Jimmy is his name
being vicious is his game
my son brought home a kitten one day
at first they didn't want to play
then Jimmy decided to change his way
they grew together as being our pets
and each other was the least of threats
when one is away the other one cries
like they will never have good-byes
they lick each other here and there
they smell each other everywhere
they protect each other too
i know that when they are huddled
deep asleep and cuddled
they are thinking of each other
images of little kitten pups dance in their heads
"Will I get my food?" is the least of their dreads
they fell in love
like it was destiny from above
