Wawa

Your stores are conveniently located wherever I’m on my way. Not only that, you are open twenty-four hours a day. I can always buy your gasoline at a moderate price. Breakfast items and deli sandwiches look fresh and nice. An early morning commute can usually be a pain. I can stop and get a cup of coffee at any store in the chain. That always makes the trip a lot easier for me. Two words that describe your operations are “convenience” and “efficiency”. All your outlets are fine examples of quality. The cleanliness of the stores and friendliness of employees does impress. In the world of business, I wish you a lot of success.

Wawa is a chain of convenience stores in a few Mid-Atlantic states. I worked in one years ago for about sixteen months. Check out my poem "Convenience Store Thanksgiving". I wrote that while I worked there.

So wawa is wawa?? hahaha. It's not the name of the store, is it? I never heard of it!! I used to work at a STop and Go. Got lots of jokes from people stopping there asking me if they could GO! This was a nice poem to see tonight.

Robert; I like the poem. You have the talent for writing this type of poems, but yes it is nice to have this stores around. I don't understand the title. I am not Puerto Rican, but I know that WAWA in Puerto Rican means - bus. Thanks for sharing... Lucilla

Thanks for explaining. I lived in Chicago many years and met a lot of Puerto Ricans. That's how I found out about the WAWA., also cavos means- change. - to us it guys, or boyfriends. Funny world, but we get used to it.

I have heard that a bus is called a "wawa" in Puerto Rico. Some people think that the sound of the running engine sounds like a baby crying. Wawa is a chain of convenience stores in the Mid-Atlantic states.
