Box Off

Box Off
The black box that tells of approaching enemy missiles is turned off
The black box that jams enemy missiles it turned off
The black box that dispenses radar jamming chaff is turned off
The black box that launches infra-red flares is turned off
The black box that gives out false position locations is turned off
The black box that plots enemy defence locations is turned off
The black box that steers a course round enemy radars is turned off
The black box that sees enemy anti-aircraft guns is turned off
The black box that should save our jet and our lives is turned off
We are now dead and our warplane is now destroyed
The black box should’ve been turned on

Selana

Selana
She strapped on her warplane and flew away to fight
Russian jets being the enemy to be hit
Her missiles were old like her plane

But it was a good one well built
Serviced by her mechanics to perform
When ordered to do by her

She the tip of the spear just a gal
Reason I love my mistress the pilot

Defending our nation each and every day
She already shot down four or five planes
She told me it’s confusing being in combat

Things happen fast beyond comprehension
It’s comparable to driving a racing bike
I think but I’m a hacker and don’t drive

I get into Russian and Red Chinese systems
Do my art and war that way to defeat them
It focuses me while my gal is up above

Keeping us all safe from enemy actions
I want to tell the world but we cannot
We must remain a secret what we both do

Modified Bombs

Modified Bombs
Her eye was acting up but that was fine
For she had a second one to use
This was just fine like her warplane
It had two engines but number one engine
This was like her eye acting up too
No need to worry for Eagle 2 jets are good
Made with system redundancy like her
An ability to function with degraded systems
Right now she was on the way to Moscow
To drop some iron bombs on Putin
A personal gift from a gal who was bad
Real bad ass half Yank half what?
That last bit was unknown but what was
Known was that she would soon be dead
Along with the Neo Soviet leader
Those iron bombs were special
She'd personally modified the warheads
A new historical dawn was coming...

Mates

Mates
I remember with joy my youth
My dad was my best mate
Taking me to the hills and mountains
We would hike all day long
Going to old mines and quarries
Exploring deep valleys
Climbing steep peaks
Finding old warplane wrecks
Those days I treasure
With my best mate my dad
My best mate
Who’s gone from this world
RIP my dad my best mate

NEVER EVER FORGET THEIR STORIES...

Be it the 5 MITSUBISHI A5M CLAUDEs that ditch due to fuel starvation in the sea

Or the 3 FOCKE WULF 190s that hit a German mountain. One had a red nose...

Or those perished on TINTWISTLE KNARR (AVRO LANCASTER-7 DEAD, 3X HAWKER HURRICANES-3 DEAD, LOCKHEED P-38 LIGHTNING-1DEAD)

And on and on and on and on...

There were 10,000 TEN THOUSAND training plane wrecks in the UK in world war2. Yet some was actual war acts eg the AIRSPEED OXFORD TRAINER that rammed a MESSERSCHMITT 410 HORNISSE... 7 dead... 2 German 5 UK...

And what of the woman who asked me for help who said her dad splashed a JUNKERS JU88G nightfighter with hand held infantry weapons? The 88 hit a house and 5 died there...

This is all down to my DAD RIP. His influence... Son this is a warplane...

8th Son

I've a spare Red Horse beer.
I'd give it to a Mustang pilot called Fredericks.
We can talk planes and drink.
I'd tell him how we looked for your location.
Sunny 8 impacted Castleshaw Moor.
Don't you know my friend and I looked thrice.
We never found your warplane.
Though I found true peace up there.
I wanted to stay up on the moor.
For I had no issues, felt free.
At quiet times, I remember.
Next year, we find your aeroplane.
I will return from a third of world away to look.
And remember the cost.
Freedom and flying is not free.
Nor is gunning Nazis down in turbulent skies.
Your beer is undrunk.
Death and time are in the way.
But intent and memories cross the divide.
No sadness, a salute...

Tranquil Death

It’s weird how some of the most beautiful natural areas
I know were brought to my attention by warplane crashes.
In this case the P-51 Mustang.
The areas are Castleshaw Moor and Rooley Moor.
At those locations I feel truly at peace.
I’d stay forever...

The Russian Warplane Shot Down Over Syria

President Putin's having Turkey for Christmas dinner this year!
I think with stuffing inside it
Will he be having second helpings?

Lakes

Ultima Thule by Jimmy Boom Semtex

ISBN: 978-1-326-14210-0

from my new book under my pen name

Lakes
Living in a world of memories. I remember our holidays in the Lake District in my auntie's cottage. Going to mountain warplane crashes, visiting the lakes, climbing real mountains and seeing quaint villages and towns.
Driving there in my dad's Avenger and later on, his Lada. Seeing RAF jets fly low in the valleys. For a while, thinking I'd do that one day. Eating Kendal Mint Cake, hard on the teeth, great on the gut! Give me some more.
Collecting all manner of stones; pebbles off St Bee's beach, minerals from Goldscope mines, slate from Whinlatter quarry and a dozen other things from the Mother Earth. Was this where my love of the natural world started?
Those meaningful 70s and 80s holidays faded into my youth. My 20s, 30s and early 40s passed. Decades stealing my memories, eroding their sharpness. But not taking the feeling in my heart. One day I will day return.

Take Away Bloody Fools, Gracious God

Take away bloody fools, Gracious God!
Relieve us of our sins’ heavy load!

Take away the blood-thirsty wolves
That are borne in the shapes of humans,
Conspiring against the Adam-born
To destroy the world peace, like Satans.

Take away fools, the fire-belching dragons
N’ bring forth, instead, those that be wise,
Who can turn today’s hell-like world
Into a happy, peaceful paradise,
Where there all be happy n’ unworried,
N’ having with each other good ties,
Where there are no suicide attacks
And no warplane flies,
Where there no Eve-daughter is ravished
And no oppressed cries,

N’ where for hateful sounds of blasts,
There are sweet songs of love,
N’ where there all are free and equal:
Crow, crane, kite and dove.
