Blue Is The Warmest Color

We met in a coffee shop
off Fifth Avenue
In Jersey.

You were so magnetic;
your eyes shone so brightly.

A couple of years passed by;
and our paths crossed
once more
through the entanglement
of interwoven destiny.

We both ended up
in that coffee shop again.

I have to ask:

Did the blue in
your hair fade naturally,
or did you lose your sense
of self-expression?

Your aura felt hollow;
your eyes weren’t dancing
when I looked at them.

Some say blue is the warmest color.

Darling,
blue doesn’t suit
you at all.
And neither
does
blonde.

Premium MemberOn Warmest Bed of Optimism

Charming and serious, communications between
the fairy and dragonfly, compete for a child’s attention.
—Poet

A rustic sky, out of bound;
Humans see ethereally.
Teeniest fairy, on sunshine round,
children find touchy-feely.
On warmest bed of optimism,
in her red-pink gown, wings sans sound.
She entertains, charms with witticism.
Steely-dragonfly’s profound.

Supernal what-ifs sifted.
Human children understand, for
the tiniest while, the world’s gifted.
Blue eyes gaze sunflower’s core.
Verdant leaves cocoon, sway in breeze.
Amidst the seeds, mobile lifted,
innocent, before the birds’ and bees’
fluttering lashes shifted.

Premium MemberThe Warmest and Coldest Season

It is December and a soft snow is falling,
Christmas lights are all around,
Red, green and white decorations are enthralling,
Angelic carols abound,

A warm fire is burning, I'm as snug as can be,
With hot eggnog in my hand,
A star shines on top of the sparkling Christmas tree,
Cheer spreading throughout the land,

Cookies, plum cakes and pies, so many things to bake,
Launch into them happily,
Loving greetings, presents and memories to make,
I cherish my family,

December is the coldest and warmest season,
Winter outside, love inside,
The birth of Jesus Christ is the happy reason,
I love this month and Yuletide.

Warmest Affection

Closed my eyes
and
saw you there.

the
most radiant beauty
with
the loveliest stare.

kissed your lips
and
my heart went
where
there’s the strongest
passion
without even a
care.

held you close
and
my joy was
full
the warmest affection
from
me you pull.

Feel the Warmest Share

R-ainy evening has gone,
O-ur weather looks good;
N-ew morn has broken,
A-sserting a merry mood.

Those Eyes Are the Warmest I'Ve Ever Seen

Contain yourself
Hold me as we lay awake
With nothing but
Calm hearts and unwary minds
Free of everything holding us back
free of those temporary anxieties
and we can just be
the sun smiles as it kisses our untouched skins
from warm nights
with your arms wrapped around me
shielding me and giving me a home to get back to
and we go there if only for a little while
if only for these nights
and breakfast in bed sounds like the most beautiful thing now
and those eyes I get to wake up to
are the warmest I’ve ever seen

Premium MemberYour Warmest Embrace My Love

I treasure ever,
Your warmest embrace my love.
It captivates my soul pure!
I see your dear look—
Mesmerized by your presence.
Your touch is so rapturous!
I taste your warm lips,
Luscious and most inviting.
They excite my passion so!
I love so your smile,
So pure, cheerful, radiant.
It fascinates me always!
Your touch is magic;
Your presence stirs my passion;
Our emotions now on fire!
Our bodies meet pure;
They unite one locked in love;
Sublime ecstasy complete!
Our love is now one,
And our shared passion is true.
Our destiny is now one!
So as I write this
My Sweet—I think of you now,
And our love so wonderful—
Your warmest embrace My Love!

I'Ll Be Thinking of the Warmest Sunshine

I recall the cool light of the shortest days,
and the darkness of the longest nights;
I shivered under a blanket and that made dreams freeze,
even snowflakes hid stars to block their fading gleams!
I'll be thinking of the warmest sunshine,
smelling flowers that are all mine!

March is warmer than February as days get longer;
I shouldn't wait any longer, but be that dancer:
leaping on scented meadows strewn with poppies, bluebells and daisies...
while my cheeks feel the warmth of the September sun mixing with breeze!
I'll be thinking of the warmest sunshine,
dreaming of sunrises to opine!

I will invite the blue jays, the mockingbirds and the lively butterflies
to watch me dance...where's that blonde-haired boy who plays the flute?
I like to feel those golden sun rays as I felt them in the prime of my happy youth,
and isn't spring the pure essence of happiness that glows on a serene face?
Ill be thinking of the warmest sunshine,
observing lilies that climb and entwine!

The Warmest Gift For Christmas

Under the silver sky ,
The essence feeling from the snow starts to fly.
The northern wind evolutionary telling us ,
Christmas is ready to pass by.

The coldness making us gather in one space ,
Appointing us to share a heart warmness ,
Reminding us to provide a gathering place.

The greatest gift I can get is you my dear ,
Like a Santa Claus to me.

When you embrace me , the lonleyness fades away ,
When you smile back to me , the sadness is washed away ,
When you kiss me , my frozen heart begins to feel again.

Celebrating those happy hours with you ,
I have learned , love is the largest vivid emotion ,
Giving us the view of a colorful deep motion.

Being so greatful for having you in my life ,
My thoughts are howeling loud ,
Love is not just a feeling that evokes with time ,
Love is an ability that can give the sense of soulful heart.

Tasting the Warmest Rain

Spring, as always, has mild days of sun and clouds,
and in between, it sends down the thinniest rain seemingly blue;
I'm blessed to taste it as it runs down the mounds,
below the hazy town seems empty almost vanishing fron view.

The further I go down, the closer I see the unrhythmic streets:
people walk as ghosts wearing broody faces as they hold umbrellas made for giants;
there's the highway that'll take me home, where snow alters landscapes and sounds,
but tasting the warmest rain compliments me for the lack of cheers.

Several thirty-story skyscrapers will block the sun from shining free,
this southern town, hidden among mountains, has known poverty;
the unemployed and young want jobs despite change and monotony;
they, too will taste the warmest rain and will dream of an age of prosperity.

My Sweetest Thank You and My Warmest Hug

To those poets who guided me along
that long, arduous road to success:
I sincerely give them my sweetest
" Thank you " and my warmest hug.

I can mention many names: Carrie Richards, Laura Mckenzie, Carolyn Devonshire
Cathy Lindsey, Debbie Guzzi, Nette Oncloud, Linda-Marie,Harry Horseman, Rick Parise,
Andrea Dietrich,Carol Brown,John Freedman,Connie Marcum Wong,Andersen Anne Lise,
John J. Falotico, Destroyer Poet, Vienna Bombardieri and Tracie Indigo Dreamweaver.

I would love to see those names in the Poetry Soup Hall Of Fame;
they have shown devotion and ambition through their brilliant poetry,
and the entire world should recognize them for their talent and ability,
but if the literati ignored their contributions, it would be more than shame.

I praise these gladiators of literature whose sharp swords are words for thought;
I laud their achievements and shout their names with a pride never heard,
to let everyone know how great and invincible they are in the battlefield...
and they'll go forward holding the torch of inspiration until its flame will burn out.
