every game was about baby, the theme is pink and gold
the giggles and laughter by women, never get old
the jokes are hilarious, this baby shower is a delight
mom and I will talk about it all through the night
diaper pins were not easy to find, but we did it
the kidding was crazy, as was the game with oven mitt
hilarity was as fun as Tupperware parties back in the day
I do not know myself, but believe my auntie Kay
we got to guess the sex, which was fun, but redundant of course
the pink and gold theme was not meant for a unicorn horse
I never knew mom’s friends could be this much fun at all.
What a marvelous party to have; I had a ball!
cloth diapers were not easy, and we painted onesies too.
Most of the partygoers chose pink, I chose a royal blue
I want my little sibling to have the best, and lots of color.
Whether she be a sister or a sweet chubby pink brother.
This designer was a throwback for sure
Wanting to design a bed mushroom pure
Had spent time with a hippie grandma
Designed the prettiest bed I’d ever saw
Mushrooms never looked so beautiful
Winding and twisting, never a bit dull
His grandmother gave him tips of course
In his next bed, he would design a horse
I want a butterfly! I want a willow tree!
I want a frog! Sang out his cousins three.
The designer nodded, then promptly moved away.
Their greedy requests were probably too much that day.
I want you with the force of the Trojan army —
sweet spot of the horse

Bobby May’s Flirt with me poetry contest
I want a kiss
Like the sun meet the sea
Like river catch the wind
Like the storm hold the sand
Like the hair cut to make a style
Like the drink gives the best
Like the mountain grows
Like the electricity make the bill
Like the way you enjoy the poem
Like the horse race to win
Like the Thunder made a shine on your
lips when it gloss
Like ko chodo beacuse I want a kiss
With love all

I want to be the horse who
Jesus Christ rides
at His
second coming
Carrying Christ
from beginning to end
Through the clouds
to the mountain top
I being first
to hear the echo
of His proclamations
