Shark, the contortionist cat, is sitting catty-wampus today.
His head is north, paws west, crossed in a weird southwestern way.
Wearing his glitzy tiara and a feathered boa of blue.
He will not take direction, and has a secret kill room, maybe two
He drags these little bitty animals up, and leaves their bodies for me.
Usually headless when I step on them, sometimes in two or three.
He brings snakes, rabbits, squirrels, moles, voles, and other critters too.
Shark, such a prissy haughty character. I am his clean-up crew.
Shark, the cat, is sitting catty-wampus today. He is a contortionist. His head is to the north,
His tail to the west, paws to the east, crossed in a southwesterly way, except for one which is
Somehow sticking up in the air like a lone feather. He is licking his Neverland region, as I step
Over him. At first when I noticed him on the porch, with all these extensions, I thought he was a
Fat, giant spider. Shark is an older cat, there is no way he should have this kind of agility, but
He does, and I am in awe.
The blue silver visage of the moon sets forth its uncanny light
But it might not be only thing uncanny this night
Or is it just a giant animal that gives people such fright
With its orange eyes glowing in pitch dark night
There is something frightening too
About not being able to see something that can see you
Something blending perfectly with night because of its hue
Something that has claws making imprints with blood flowing like morning dew
Chasing wampus beast with guns and hunter thinks he has it in a bind
But suddenly he hears soul shaking, bone chilling roar from behind
And it is now hunter who is in the bind
He shoots his gun but in the night he is almost blind
Eyes are the most unique feature
Of this terrifying creature
But do they belong to animal or something formed at demonic altar
Or is it still something else explaining its ability to avoid capture?
The awe inspiring beast has its majesty
Like it could taste immortality
But it is a dark visage eyes depth of dread being beyond soul absolute continuity
That is their powers measure and they will make you face your own mortality
The sea of grass taller than knees
Leads to area covered by trees
You turn west couple degrees
The eerie feeling is carried by the breeze
Only grave silence you will hear
Suddenly huge black cat will appear
What exactly is it is unclear
But it instills deep fear
Like a shadow wampus beast stalks the night
It is uncanny and dreadful sight
Its visage showing through moons light
Its sleek powerful form roaring in milky twilight
Its speed senses will excite
But do not take its power light
For it is ready to fight
And its dreadful, fearless, dead eyes reveal its might
