Who can resist the call of ocean waves
whispering as they lap against the shore?
Who can stand firm against that which enslaves?
Return passionate melody ardor?
How many men have heard the Sirens’ song
leaving wondering kith and ken behind?
How did their fateful journey hold so long
to oppress their minds and tighten the bind?
Who can repeat sweet nothings of wafture
that solos its secret, seductive song?
Who can resist the traction of rigor
that intones one’s soul to follow along?
Can from the heights of Icarus one dive
to the depths of Poseidon and survive ?

WEST WIND 2
Be willingly wise with worthy ways as us Westerners
cos winter wind of woes wanders about
like a wandering Wolf windsurfing in wildlife.
Winter windup waves of weird wonder
wondrous enough to bring back Wayne Wonder
and wheeled at will the whole world with wows
which pose pridely like a waddy,
a wacko walking within waves of woes;
Whatsoever west wind wagged we wandered
as we become wanners, wearing wan expression,
warmly staring like a Wagga Wagga wading-bird.
Welcome was the words of windy west
as winsome breeze wapped my window and
wafted her sensuous witty wet perfume,
into my wide Afro-Western nostrils
waving wheats and weeds at will,
twas a whopping war wafture waxing souls warmly.
Why would wingless wild west wind worries
yet still, wags us with it's wondrous waves,
withdraws our eardrums with her windy drums
and whithered the plantation of peace
from the furrow of the fainthearted?

Autumn Afterglow
As halcyon summer days
wave goodbye
Bucolic trees seen from
an autumn sky
Become a cynosure
of colored bliss
So heat of summer days
we will not miss.
When dawn's hoarfrost gleams
on gossamer seams,
As diamonds are bestowed
by sunlit beams
With pastiche of rainbow
hues in tall trees,
Leaves begin their dance
when cool zephyrs tease,
Imbued with beauty and
susurrus sound
A wayward wafture before
touching ground.

Under the demure willow
In my hammock just to brood
Complete relaxation
On my opulent lagoon
Right outside my bungalow
Grows plethora of the Moon Flower
They are so lithe with beauty
You could only dream of such a power
Their elixir serves much eloquence
To let go, and just release
The stress of your emotions
Let them halt and cease
My place is one quite comely
Here you’ll find relief
You’ll hear susorrous in the wind
As it whisks away your grief
Take the essence of felicity
Combined with natures bliss
From the shore you’ll see my wafture
As I blow a goodbye kiss
