Vitamin B Poems | Examples

Premium Member activity director at an old folks home

pepperishly lively
she brought the party
activity director
better than Vitamin B

Grumpy ones pretended not to like her
But the light in their eyes
unveiled their truth

And they were the eager ones
Watching the doorway on Tuesdays at two o’clock

Ourgood Health Is At Risk

Our Good Health is at Risk

One aspect of Global Warming is much too quiet.
It is the part that affects our diet.
The world relies on rice or wheat
And both are affected by summer heat.
The hot sun raises CO2 level lots.
This saps the nutrients from our food crops.
Scientists are not sure how
But they are working hard on it now
Zinc, iron, protein, and vitamins
Are under their microscope lens.
They must keep trying
Cause Millions would die for lack of iron.
Thousands more would be low on zinc
Bringing diseases and life to the brink
30,000 children under five
Sadly would not stay alive.
The loss of vitamin B in rice.
If missing would not be nice.
Governments must reduce emissions
To maintain our plant food nutritions.
If warming continues at the present rate
We must take action now or it will be too late.

Started taking Vitamin B-12 for my memory
Reminding me of the B-29, a question for Jeopardy
A bomber during history's dark time
World War II, a disgusting crime
We must all be sure so as not repeat this treachery

Missed You Dear

There was a loud bang
 her body gave out
slammed against the wall
 A few more steps
 another thud
 The door flew open
she fell face first into bed
 Every shallow exhale
filled the air with the smell of alcohol
 and sour vomit
He looked on in helpless disappointment
So many nights were spent like this
today it was well into the morning
 Another burp
 vomit pooled on the pillow
her face resting in it
Where had she been as he laid there
awake all night
longing for her embrace
his body was always hers
she let other people in
he had drank all night trying not to think
of where she may have been
he was tired of the mess
the pills and wine
 vitamin b, Rolaids, and lies
he existed in cut ties
