Inspired by a meme and my boyfriend.
A soft rain was falling,
A roof top lullabye I call it.
The sound was so peaceful,
The rhythm had lulled me to sleep.
I dreamt I was sailing,
In puddles and streams.
The thunder cracked,
I awoke...my roof was leaking above me.
Life is indeed a funny old game
it's pathways and bends go many a way
many crossroads come to our minds
making decisions to go or just to stay
There was a young chap called Gary
decent quiet nice mannered was he
company was hard especially among girls
felt apprehensive among any not at all free
One day he was walking on his own
met a lady much older with her dog
who asked him what was his job
a joiner by trade at night wrote a blog
He did a few jobs for this lady called Sue
putting up some shelves, made a new door
they got to know each other very well
each one having affection all the more
They went out for meals together
many walks together hand in hand
a fire was burning within each other
this relationship, could it truly stand
So Gary and Sue were now an item
though many years divided their range
both didn't care for love connected them
for them, this 'affair' wasn't at all strange
In the midnight hour, Sue saw
a vision in the dark sky above
one word came down, YES
Gary proposed to say You I love
( This is a fictional write where young meets providentially someone older and they click romantically in love)
Visionary,
I am imaginative, adventuresome, dramatic and funny,
Bob, my hubby I love, writing and birdwatching next,
ideas of mentoring new writers, teaching and dreaming,
feelings of contentment, positivity and hope,
fear of heights, monsters in my closet and being alone,
a bucket list of writing a novel, traveling and antiquing,
a resident of the Potato State,

The Spiders home
So small so thin,
Do you ever think
Where's she's never been?
She spins her home
Then just waits
Hoping for a meal
At her gate.
You'll never see
A tear she might shed
For getting love
Her mate does dread.
Saunter to the web
Is what he must do
Hoping she doesn't
Turn him to stew.
A simple life
Like so very many
Exiled to ground
With legs so skinny.
Feared by many
When sneaking around
Heavy breath
Does abound.

I'd offer you a hand
But every time you say
"don't bother."
I'd offer you a hand
But I just get dirty looks.
What would you do
If I offered you a foot?
Get off of my cloud
In this moment I own it
At least for right now
And do not worry
I shant let thee fall
Whereas, merely I am three feet off the ground
But, soon my hope shall be set ever higher
Then, thou canst stay alittle while longer
Until then, get off of my cloud

fork knife spoon

(Assume I am at a dinner or at IHOP)
Asking the server for the check.
I knew you would be coming...you come every year old one.
My mere dreams could merely subdue the pain.
But the real pain lies, it lies to both you and I but mostly upon you.
The truth is a funny thing sometimes it can never be found by those who wish to find it, such ones like myself.
Who knows what time will bring our way?
Who knows of such a time?
Life is so short but everyone at one time wishes it were shorter.
My life
Your life
Hangs in one life
Our life
If this day should come to pass as our last please do remember me.
Forget me not for I am unforgettable but forgivable I be.
Love is such a strong word but many don't know what it means, but many think they do.
Is love what we share?
I ask you for myself I am unaware.
The words which I write are fading so until next time it is good-bye I am saying~
JOB'S FUNNY SISTER
Job's sister
didn't need a whale
life ate her
"Tree huggers” use AT&T
The human cost catastrophe
On the horizon
Like text from Verizon
Is sent with the speed of 4G
Pollution's still booked at no
cost
And Earth’s expenses neatly tossed
Off the balance sheet
With a "Sprint" so complete
The effects on nature seem lost
Yes EPA rules do offend
Those who crave Earth’s wealth without end
They claim to hate debt
But have seen nothing yet
Like phone bills "T-Mobile" might send!
Author's note: It seems ironic and strange that debt haters (like tea party supporters, for
example) and those who are pushing more reliance on fossil fuel and less "subsidy" for
renewables (Romney/Ryan for example) support the continuation of policies and
practices that will damage the environment and that will hurt future generations. They are
pushing growth and not pushing conservation. I would have more respect for them if
they talked about the costs as well as the benefits of their plans. I wonder if it might just
be a scam to reward large corporations for the short term and stick it to the rest of us for
generations. That would be nothing new.
Can't sleep.

Rainter! O my Rainter! What are you, Rainter?
Are you a new season tinted by holy painter?
Rain is falling hard even in this freezing winter,
Everywhere disgust roams like a lonely hunter.
The winter rain congeals brains, soaks hearts,
With its two ice-cold hands and crying eyes.
Nature is camouflaging itself in several parts
To display how changing carpet of Time flies.
Rainter, a fragment of Nature’s jumbled play,
Is nothing but a cyclic blend of its crude tools.
Some would sense it exciting, others may say
“Rainter, thou art disgusting except to the fools”
There’s a story on the island
of spirits in the night,
a special place where they go to dance
on the sand in the midnight moonlight.
You can hear them singing
and laughing
as they hide in the fog,
they play hide-n-seek and
ride the surf’s roll.
You won’t see their faces—
but they see your soul,
they watch you and hear you
as the island winds blow.
Their seaweed hair wet,
limbs swaying in the mist,
the moonlight gone,
as the sand turns cold,
they return each night,
it’s their favorite place,
well—that’s what I’m told.
